The Tangled Web We Weave
Questions of who we befriend we ask ourselves day after day Fears and doubts of who to trust and what to say The pains of mistakes that we will recieve This is the tangled web we weave Our faith dangles on the thinnest thread as we hold our breath Our sanity barely intact is a fear greater than death But our friendship will force this fear to leave In this life of tangled webs we weave When I first told you these words we both laughed and sighed I now look back at the time our friendship was tied It is these words that we know and conceive Our similar tangled webs we weave What else can I say, except, thank you for being there for me You know I try my best with you too as you can see I send these kind words for you to recieve In effort to help the tangled web we weave |

Sleep
Close your eyes little child, sleep tight Think of nothing little child, as you sleep tonight Listen to the lullaby little child and the beautiful rhyme Rest your body little child, it's now bedtime Little boy, tomorrow you'll be more of a man But you must try hard and believe you can Little girl, tomorrow you'll be more of a lady But only if you try hard enough, maybe, just maybe For the night is to dream, rest and grow A time of peace and tranquility we all know Tomorrow will bring a new sunrise And the new day will bring it's new surprise But first you must . . . Close your eyes little child, sleep tight Think of nothing little child as you sleep tonight |
