//    Installation

Delete all old aliases before installing this (If you're using a previous version of these aliases, click here). The installation is extremely easy, no manual config editing is needed:

Extract the .zip file to your Counter-Strike directory (default is "c:\sierra\half-life\cstrike\"). Remember, when you extract to 'Keep Pathnames', and use 'Extract and Replace files' (those are the names using WinRAR, names are likely to vary from program to program, but something similar should be shown), also to not completely overwrite folders, merely update them. After doing so, fire up Half-Life, and click on Custom Game. Find Counter-Strike, highlight it, and click Activate. Return back to the main screen and then select Configuration | Controls. Scroll down the list to discover 'RzE's Bag o' Aliases Binds'. Proceed to bind to your heart's content! All binds are optional, but not using any is a waste of aliases :D! You will need to (re)bind 'Jump' using the controls menu for the 'Jump Clear' to work. Note Rebind all the things that say ** REBIND NOW **... Also, browsing through the aliases.cfg file is recommended; Make changes where needed/wanted.

My aliases have many purposes, here's a run down of the largest features. For more info read the advanced section.

Buying Weapons or Items
Simply put, it opens up the buy menu and buys the items and weapons you selected/pressed the key for.

Radio Menus
Same as above, only with radios.

Comm Script
Lets you use about to 7 different radio/speeches to alert your team of what's going on/what to do.. Custom for each game type and team.

Chooser Scripts
Lets you choose which items (or pistols) to puchase when you use a 'Buy Weapon' alias.

Loadout
Lets you select what weapon to buy with the press of one key.

Buy Weapons:
Bind a key using the controls menu to, for example, buy an MP5-Navy. Pressing the key at your spawn will purchase the MP5 with full ammo. Another way would be to use the chooser script, see the advanced reading section for alias wepitems.

Use the Comm Script:
Press the 'Activate Comm Menu' key (after binding it in the controls menu) and use your 1-9 key keys on your keyboard to navigate through the menus. Jump to be able to use 1-9 keys for other menus (like radio, or the buy menu).

//    Introduction

Aliases are the biggest lifesaver in Counter-Strike, and if you use them to your advantage you will become a better CS player. Imaging the "rushing" scenario where the opposite team gets on a roll and constantly beats your team to the punch every time. If you have aliases for guns, ammo, and kevlar, you can get out of your base quicker than the poor souls who have to cycle through their menus to get what they need. In turn, you can use that extra few seconds to your advantage by getting in position, calling out commands, rushing around behind the team, etc., etc. It amazes me how many clans go out with this, do your clan a favor and tell them to pick up my, or anyone else's aliases. Speed is a kill, and death is slow.

Contrary to previous versions of RzE's Bag o' Aliases, this version can now be easily configured from your Configuration | Controls menu in Half-Life, eliminating that nasty console and Notepad editing! Yay!

It makes sense to use aliases, and that's why RzE and his band of ass dildi have compiled the fastest aliases for you to use. Now go forth, and kick some ass!

Remember, these aliases are meant to tie in with your current settings, they replace nothing, but older and slower aliases!
