Physical Appearance: Unknown outside of the ring, Mishima is a monster inside, and he dresses the part. He can be found in a black gi with the MFE logo emblazoned on the left breast. He also wears standard black wrestling boots and a taped left hand. On his head, there is always a red mask, there to symbolize the blood that will be spilled before the ultimate destruction of RAPTOR.
Personality Profile: Shoichi has no personality to speak of. He does not talk, and all dealings are done through Mr. Okasa, his manager, and superior.
History: As has been established, RAPTOR was created for the purpose of bringing a new Tiger Mask style character to the world of puroresu. After RAPTOR was created, an evaluation period passed, and the MFE bigwigs realized they had failed. Like most of the guys with workrate like that, he was better suited to mid-card status on American wrestling. RAPTOR's contract was sold to "The Boss" -the enigmatic behind-the-scenes tyrant- but due to financial woes on The Boss's part, he was hired out on a mercenary basis to the likes of Vic Garibaldi.
In the meantime, a new clone had been created, and MFE realized they had a hit for the puroresu set, as opposed to the blowhard RAPTOR. The new prototype was adopted by RAPTOR's original guardian, Kazuya Mishima, who dubbed him "Shoichi". Shoichi was put to work immediately, trained by the likes of an underground American style grappler named Mr. Okasa.
After years of intense training by Okasa and other instructors, Shoichi entered wrestling with two missions:
1. Obliterate RAPTOR, the prototype, the flawed clone, the failure.
2. Bring World gold home to Japan.
Shoichi most recently resumed his nefarious mission, and surfaced in World Wrestling Organization, where RAPTOR was Cruiserweight champion. RAPTOR had heard rumors and read dirtsheets, so he was watching his back. The mental anguish was equal or worse than any subsequent beatings, for RAPTOR never quite knew when his half brother would resurface to rub him out.
At the pinnacle of his success, RAPTOR was not ready to have his career handed to him by Shoichi. Several years earlier in Okinawa, the two had met in the octogan in a brutal shoot fight; yet another sick experiment by the sinister MFE.
After a long and tiresome match, RAPTOR
was tossed about effortlessly by the superior clone and locked in the feared
STF. The gauntlet was thrown down, and as RAPTOR finalized his contract
with NJPW, Shoichi followed him on orders from Kaz Mishima. Shoichi plans
on walking though any of RAPTOR's allies -on either continent- and doing
whatever it takes to accomplish his missions.
