Burnt Hills Track vs. Saratoga Track
Ultimate Frisbee @ Saratoga St. Park
    Wednesday, June 14th

"The Battle of the States Class B XC Championship Team and the States #2 Class A XC Team"

  • Results- Well everything is done. It is official and the outcome was not suprising at all. Burnt Hills showed no mercy as their 21 points rampaged Saratoga's slim 7 points. The Burnt Hills force was very strong as our 1st team was just as good as the teams we subbed in during the game. Ken "Ogre" Laskowski came up with huge defensive plays. Kellee Koenig suprised the whole field as the other team considered her "just a girl" and that was a big mistake as she came up with big plays proving that she is the best female ultimate player in BH. AJ Keegan, Adam Bird, Dan Crespin also came up big. Just about everyone scored a touchdown at some point and the game was over in less then an hour. A solid win. Another game versus Saratoga will eventually take place again. Burnt Hills Frisbee Team will accept any new challenges in the near future. This victory should move us up in National rankings baby.

  • Current Line Up- AJ Keegan, Ken Laskowski, Chris Dolen, Mike Dolen, Ian Vonie, Ben Pangie, Chris Camp, Trevor "Special Kid" Roberts, Phil DeMello, Dan Crespin, Adam Bird, Adam Platka, Chris Bonner, John Hoffman, Kellee Koenig, Coach: Johnny Armbruster.

  • Rules- Game to 21!!!! It seems like a lot but not when your getting crushed by Burnt Hills. I know other teams might want to come but I say the tournament should be held for a later date. June 14th is reserved soley for a Saratoga beating.

Chris Camp tried out for the long jump on Friday but failed to qualify with his 13 foot effort. A discouraged Chris Camp then took it to the 5,000 meter run on Saturday to finish in 2nd in the Scholastic division behind Shaker's Justin Corelli (16:12). Chris Camp's time was 16:32, finishing 3rd overall and qualifying for the games also. Sarah Mollard put in good efforts in the 10K, 5K and 1,500 meter run but was not able to qualify for the games. Burnt Hills, New York Track/XC vs. Seekonk, Massachusetts Track/XC
Ultimate Frisbee @ Camp Westwood Grounds, RI
    Monday, August 7th, 2000

"A Northeast Regional Challenge Between Two National Powerhouses in the Neutral Grounds of the Great State Rhode Island!"

The Game consisted of two 15 minute halves. Burnt Hills only played with the members they had staying in the LARKIN cabin. So this means BH played shorthanded without Ken "Ogre" and Ian Vonie. Ben Pangie, Chris Bonner, Jamie Black, Cabin Counsler Norm, Chris Camp, Kyle Folmsbee, John Hoffman, Matt Arthur and Dan Crespin all represented the BH contingent. Burnt Hills broke the backs of Seekonk early with the first two goals of the game making it 2-0. Seekonk played a good game and surged but big errors made in the 2nd half made Seekonk surrender the game for good. Final Score: BH-10 Seekonk-4. This Regional match up once again prooves that Burnt Hills has the strongest Ultimate Frisbee team in the nation. Even playing poorly with a non stacked team, BH was still able to come out on top. Spectacular Folks!
