Melissa is the kind of swimmer that a coach can't get enough of. She always comes to practice, morning and evening, is almost always on time, and works incredibly hard. Plus she's friendly and makes us all laugh and have a good time at practice.
But don't let all the laughing fool you. She's a very serious swimmer. She constantly has questions and listens to every word to learn as much as she can. She'll try it all, and all that extra dedication is going to pay off in a huge way some day.

Ronald Strookappe

Ronald deserves the Swimmer of the Month title for October because of the incredible improvements he's made to his swimming since the beginning of the season. His attendance and his dedication have been fantastic, and he's come far enough in these months to attain rank of hot dog swimmer.
If these improvements keep coming like they have been so far, which they should with Ronald's efforts, we can expect some pretty amazing swims over this coming season. That will help make him ready for next year when he has to return to Holland and impress the swim trunks off of the continental swimmers.
