Town fans were fearing the worst going into this game after a couple of dismal displays in the last two games. Wokingham started badly as usual and it wasn't long before Windsor took the lead after yet another defensive mix up. With captain Turner missing from defence (out for at least 8 weeks injured) it looked like Wokingham would go down again. Far from it ! Town fought back in the second period of the first half a manged to pull one back with a well worked goal, supebly finished by player of the month Nick Campbell. The first half ended well and Town, wearing their new all white away strip, were on the front foot. The second half was slightly more even although Town did have slightly the better of it and were rewarded with a penalty with about 25 minutes left. Wokingham's experienced striker Dave Puckett cooly slotted away the penalty to send the barmy army mad. Town were in front, made all the more sweeter as they were playing their landlords in a grudge match. Both sets of fans exchanged chants but Wokingham's fans were the louder as they celebrated their 2-1 lead and didn't let the Windsor fans forget Town's 4-1 win at Stag Meadow last season.

After Pucketts 5th goal of the season Town got men behind the ball and held on for the three points, a great result against a team with a good reputation.
