I got into Rugby by a fluke, I was bored the first few days of college as a new freashman, trying to find some dam parties. Well the first party I happend to find and go to was a Rugby one. The rugby guys were already doing some initiation shit, so I pl yed along to get more beer. Before I left they asked if I would go to practice the next day. Seeing how they were greatful enough to give this bored ass freashman beer, I thought it only polite to try the sport out. Well I did, and I love it, and am de initly sticking to it. Our first season was great, I play hooker and am having a blast learning this sport and playing it too.

Great page-- get this to Art-- I played for him at West Springfield HS in 1979. Started then, played in college for Jacksonville, FL, then USMC at Fort Knox, 29 Palms, Camp Schwab (Okinawa), for USMC team (86-91), and KCRFC. Don't actively play now but et in some matches now and then. Am President of the Kansas City Rugby Foundation- a not-for-profit 501(c)3 that helps KCRFC sponsor 3 high school sides in KC- Park Hill, Olathe, and Central. KCRFC has a 99 Rugby World Cup tour going over the pond.
