I am currently a very active member of a great organization called Southern Championship Wrestling. I handle The Messiah of Pro-Wrestling: "The Iceman" David Smith. On this site, you'll learn some more about my main character and the real reason people watch wrestling, "The Iceman" David Smith and find a link to Southern Championship Wresling so you can be sacraficed to the Bullgod of Pro-Wrestling.

Personality and looks: The Messiah stands at 5'11 and is a semi-muscular 230lbs. He usually hides emotion on his face with a icy look, hence the name "The Iceman". On other occasions, his wild side will take control and The Iceman will be riving nutcase injuring himself and anyone else in his way. The Messiah also is decorated with tattoos. He has barbed wire wrapped around his left arm, a dragon on his right arm, the word Messiah written on the left portion of his chest, right above his heart, $MITH: THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL on the right side, and a coil of barbed wire rapped up his right leg. Personality wise, The Iceman is a complex being. He used to give his interviews out of his gym in Panama City but now it usually will come from a penthouse suite resting in the Edgewater Resort in Panama City or any other fine establishment worthy of catering to The Messiah. One day he can be the cockiest of all heels while the next day, he'll be dark and sinister. He likes to make it clear that he is in control and no one has the ability to stop him. His ego is his most precious thing and he'll only show emotion if someone else has a bigger ego than himself. Smith also has a keen taste for Kool-Aid. He can be seen drinking it during interviews and when he coming to a match. This has earned him the nickname "Captain Kool-Aid." In the ring, Smith is a genius. He can work several styles but likes to mat wrestle along with putting scientific, techincal, submission, and aerial skills. If his wild side kicks in, he can be the most suicidal wrestler alive. His finisher is a modified STF which he calls The Equalizer. Smith strictly belives he is the Messiah of Pro-Wrestling and will stop at nothing to achieve his mission.

Background and history(as of August 3rd, 1999): The Iceman started his career as an idealistic young kid in the deep south but was turned away because he wasn't a brawler. He soon found the Dragon Spirits American Wrestling Dojo in Tokyo and enlisted to be trained. During a training match, he was dropped on a concrete park bench head first and was knocked out cold. After further examination, he had nothing wrong with him and continued to train. However, during a training match something happened and he all of a sudden became extremely violent and broke his opponent's leg. Doctors soon found out his personality was split because of the accident. It was split between a mild mannered person and a wild and crazy person. With this revealed, he was thrown out of the dojo and he soon found his way back to America.

On July 5th, 1997, He decided to enlist in Southern Championship Wrestling to get even with all the people who told him he couldn't cut it in the south. In his first week, he was thrown into a mega-fued with Billy Joe Pherris and it lit The Iceman's career on fire. However, as SCW and Coastal Wrestling from Florida(where the Iceman was stationed) came to become The Continental Wrestling Conucil, Pherris left and The Iceman's fued quickly ended. That October he was put into a match against Commander Troyer for the vacant Florida Title and The Iceman won after giving Troyer a moonsault. After winning the gold, his targets were set on Circus Sinistre, composed of Tony Ruiz, Richard Richardson, and Blackline. During a match against Ruiz, Richardson caused the match to be a no-contest and this set up a title match between the two at The Continental Cup on 12/28/97. Richardson beat The Iceman at The Continental Cup for the title but not before the rest of the Circus laid The Iceman out. After the PPV, The Iceman continued his fued with Richardson along with the CWC's top gun, Chris Stonebreaker. It was during this time that The Messiah found his true calling: He discovered that he was chosen to be the Messiah of Pro-Wrestling, the one that would conquer pro-wrestling and mold it into his own image. This angered alot of religious nuts along with management who wrote The Messiah off as a mental nutcase. Soon after that, The Iceman joined the heel stable "The PlayPen" and was deemed their enforcer. With the help of the PlayPen, The Iceman won the CWC Pennslyvania Title from Tommy Lane on May 17th. Soon after that, The Messiah was expelled from the PlayPen because of Donovan's ego. Smith payed for this at "One" as The PlayPen denied him the chance to fight for the CWC Cruiserweight Title. Smith believes this is an elaborate conspiracy hatched by the hated CWC management to opress The Messiah. After "One", The Messiah set his sights on three opponents: Dan Starr, Ric Studd, and Rick Donovan. He also decided to join up with the upstart Georgia Regional Wrestling to expand his control. At this time, the CWC became the SCW once again and The MAPW was renamed Carolina Championship Wrestling. In his first match with GRW, he was forced to tag with Michael Lewd in the Georgia Cup Tournament. The Messiah was working the entire match until Lewd tagged himself in and payed for it when The Messiah gave him a double-arm DDT with caused Lewd to get stretchered out of the arena. Back in the SCW, distractions caused The Messiah to lose the Low Country Title to Caliban on August 8th. On August 15th, he pounded Malcom D into submission but their match for the SCW Cruiserweight Title was a draw after both men were put through a table. As of August 18th, The Messiah is demanding a Cruiserweight Title rematch and is set to lead a team at the GRW's Heatwave 98.

At Heatwave 98, Smith lead his team into battle, only to be counted out after fighting with Leroy Brown on the outside. This prompted The Iceman to sign his first singles match in Georgia in which he beat Leroy Brown by countout after one of Brown's enemies put the beat down on him. Over in Carolina, things were heating up for Coastal Combat but Smith was not on the card. This angered Smith as he tore into rookie Von Johnson at the pregame show and in turn demanded a legal title defense by Malcom D down in Georgia. During Coastal Combat, Smith's interference in Malcom D's match not only caused Malcom to lose a shot at the SCW Southern Tag Titles but it also caused Malcom to be burned by a fireball. This set up the showdown in Georgia on September 14th in which Smith made Malcom tap out to the Equalizer and in turn won the SCW Cruiserweight Title. However, interference tainted the win and Smith has granted Malcom a hopeless rematch at the SCW's Region Wide PPV in October. At the pay-per-view, Malcom D stole the title away from The Messiah as Rick Showboat, a member of The PlayPen, cost Smith the title. After the pay-per-view, Southern Championship merged all its regions into one and the first pay-per-view to be held under the new banner was to be "Turkey Day Terror" in Memphis, Tennessee.

At Turkey Day Terror, Smith was set to face the sacraficial lamb known as Rick Showboat for the Cruiserweight belt. However, Smith again was cheated as Showboat's new found Northern Invasion members cost Smith the belt. Yet, it was because of this that Smith found a new vengance to unleash as long time fan favorite Godzilla Hadaka ran out during The Northern Invasion fight. This involvement infuriated The Messiah and thrust him into a long and brutal fued with Godzilla Hadaka. Throughout the month of December, Smith terrorized Godzilla. Then, in Dallas Texas, in the middle of December, the long and ever present conspiracy against The Rightful Messiah was taken up a notch as Godzilla was awarded the vacant Southern States Title. This outraged The Messiah and immediately began a brawl with the unrightful champion which lead to their meeting at "Beatdown on Bourbon Street" on January 16th from New Orleans, Louisiana."

In New Orleans, Smith's mission was to make an example out of Godzilla and took the "No Disqualification" stipulation up a notch as he tore Godzilla limb from limb. Yet, Smith was screwed once again as after he moonsaulted Godzilla through a table, the referee enacted a ten-count, which clearly has no use in a no-dq match, and declared the match a draw. Smith's shot at The Southern States title had been stolen from him yet the hatred for Godzilla Hadaka had not. From there, he has become more determined to make Godzilla's blood write the next page of his illustrious history. Their next meeting was on February 7th, 1999 as The Messiah met Godzilla and Kenneth Karby III, in the seventh layer of Hell (AKA Birmingham, Alabama), for the Southern States Title. Working a master plan, Smith went postal and got himself disqualified. However, it also allowed Kenneth Karby III to pick up the Southern States Heavyweight Title.

With Karby holding the Southern States Title, Smith saw an opportune time to strike at the weak. The next week, on Love Hurts from Louisville Kentucky, Smith brought back the retired Florida Heavyweight Title and proclaimed it the true Southern States Title. This infuriated Karby and Commisioner Kay, and after Smith launced a reign of terror on Karby, a dog collar match for the Southern States Title was signed that pitted Kenneth Karby and The Messiah against each other. Naturally, The Messiah won this encounter and captured the most historic and illustrious title in the organization.

THE NEW REIGN OF TERROR With The Southern States Title around his waist, Smith revealed his true colors.....green! He had used the Florida Heavyweight Title simply to coax Karby into giving him a shot at the Southern States Title, because Smith realized the power the belt had. As Southern States Champion, Smith grew richer by the second and Kay grew weaker as well. Sensing he needed to protect his investment, Smith went out and alligned himself with three soldiers of fortune, dedicated to protect the Southern States Title. After a series of mysterious phone calls, the first hitman appeared at Duel on the Dunes 99, interrupting a match between Smith and some oaf called Volcano. The man would later be known as Merc, a true terror in his own right. The next two pieces of the puzzle came when stellar tag team partners, Gary Grace and The Carolina Crusher, sold out to The Messiah and The Root of All Evil was born. From there, The Root of All Evil controlled the organization, until the pandora's box was opened. On June 6th, Smith was screwed out of his Southern States Title when a fast count from a Kay loyalist in a referee's outfit stole the belt from The Messiah and awarded it to Kay's golden boy, James Wilson. Then, Grace and Crusher had to depart the organization and a hole needed to be filled. It was also at this time, Kay's ultimate ass kisser came into power.

The Present and Beyond On June 12th, 1999, Smith's arch rival, Rick Showboat, degraded The SCW National Title even more by winning it from Chris Spencer. Infuriated at this sight, Smith crashed the party and Showboat's bloated sense of self esteem. From there, a massive triple threat tag team match was signed for Full Blue Moon, from Key West Florida on June 27th. The remaining Root of All Evil, Smith and Merc, met Showboat and his hired gun, Ike Harris, along with Ric Studd and James Wilson. Naturally, The Root of All Evil scored the pin after The Messiah pinned Ike Harris. This led to the showdown on July 11, 1999, as Showboat finally had the balls to meet Smith in a cage. Naturally, Smith destroyed Showboat inside the steel and, had him beat, as he locked in The Equalizer. Showboat's second, Hoss Strickland, wouldn't throw the proverbial towel in for Showboat so, Ike Harris, who had beaten James Wilson for the Southern States Title earlier in the night, after outside interference from Merc, decided to throw it in for Showboat, giving The Messiah the SCW National Title. But, of course, we don't live in a perfect world as Smith was disqualifed by Commisioner Kay for NO APPARENT reason. Infuriated even more, Smith and Merc began to stomp a mudhole in Showboat but was stopped by Ike Harris. After a staredown, Ike proceeded to put the boots to Showboat, showing his true colors......ROOT OF ALL EVIL GREEN! Once the carnage was cleared, Showboat was wheeled off on a stretcher and eyes were on Birmingham, Alabama for the next Sunday Night Slam. There, Smith officially launched the second carnation of The Root of All Evil and made a very legal demand: Since Ike was Southern States Champion, he was the number one contender to Showboat's gold. However, Ike could pass the number one contendership off to anyone he wanted to, and, naturally The Messiah got it. However, later in the night, after Showboat showed his true colors and Kay was rambling on about law and order, the SCW National Title was stolen. The next week, Ike, Merc, and The Messiah met Dan Starr, James Wilson, and Rick Showboat inside a steel cage on Sunday Night Slam from Tampa, Florida. At the start of the match, Smith showed it was he who took TheNational Title, considering it legally was his. In the cage match, The Root of All Evil showed why they are the superior tag-team as they threw their opponents around like rag-dolls. Eventually, the referee got knocked out and The Root of All Evil turned the carnage up a notch. To make a long story short, referees were knocked out, one got a fireball from Merc and another got put in traction from Ike Harris. This prompted the fascist pig known as Kay to strip Ike and Merc of their gold and to deny The Messiah a title shot for a month. However, Smith once again stole Kay's thunder as he revealed that, in a month, Summer's End would occur and Smith demanded his LEGAL National Title shot against Showboat at that show. The stage is now set for the match to end the Summer of Blood.
