Dazed and Confused

Ah, my favorite movie of all time and a movie that has so much under the surface. I'll try to crack open the interior of this film but it might take a while. On the surface, Dazed and Confused is a teen movie set to a rock and roll beat of the kicking 1970's. If you went to highschool in the 70's(and God I wish I did), you would probably know all the personalities in the movie. You got your jocks in Benny, O'Bannion, Melvin, and somewhat Don. You got your stoners in Slater(the ultimate Stoner), Pickford, Michelle, and Hawaiian Shirt Guy. You got your intellects in Tony, Cynthia, and Mike. You got your newcomers in Mitch, Sabrina, Hirschfelder, and Carl. You got your greasers in Clint and somewhat Wooderson. You got your groups of highschool girls with one being Darla and Simmone and the other being Kaye and Jodi. The common denominator between the two is Shivonne. And then you got Pink, the guy in the middle who blends in with everyone.
