Built in San Jos� in 1994 near Desamparados district, in El Parque de la Paz (Peace Park) at 1475 meters above sea level (4868 fasl )with the porpouse of promoting track racing in this mountain covered country. The track has not been name yet, but there are a few possibilities on list to review. The track is a 333.33 meter concrete oval with 36 degree at the banking and 10 degree at the straigths. Winds coming from north-east to south-west at 35-40 Km/h, every now and then switches to oposit direction. The track meets All the international U.C.I. rules and standards. It has two entrances, one is a tunel on the estern side, and the other is on the northern side of the track capable to allow the entry of motor vehicles when required.

We are incouraging students from around the world on the exchange programs or spanish learning centers to either find us once in this country or to contact us before coming down, so we can offer them the chance to train while learning spanish with others from Costa Rica.

We are actually working on a program of spanish and track training with a learning center in this beautiful country. As soon as possible it will be posted in this web site, please be looking for it. Ofcourse we are accepting ideas from similar projects around the world already in operation.
