My collection of game-used equipment is not very big at all, but, I hope to make it much bigger as the season goes on. The basic type of game-used equipment that I am trying to collect is sticks. Jerseys and gloves are just too hard to obtain. I also like game or practice used pucks.
I'm not really into trading equipment or pucks, but if you have any info about which players are known to give away sticks before or after games, or that have in the past, I would greatly appreciate you telling me. Absolutely any info would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

Player: Damien Rhodes Type of Stick: Itech Profile goalie stick #1476 Condition of Stick: On the bottom of the blade, the tape is worn out. There are a lot of puck marks on the white tape which is on the blade. On the fat part of the stick, there is a fairly large crack along the side.
When: April 27, 1999 at Game #4 of the First Round of the playoffs between Buffalo And Ottawa. Where: Marine Midland Arena in Buffalo. How: I made a little sign that said: "Mr. Rhodes, Can I Please Have Your Stick?". I went down by the Ottawa bench and Damien happened to see the sign. After warm-ups, he handed me one of his sticks.
Player: Michal Grosek ~ SIGNED Type of Stick: Easton Core 7100 Condition of Stick: The tape on the blade is pretty worn out, a lot of puck marks. On the shaft, you can tell Michal used rubber because it is very sticky. When: September 27, 1999 at an Exhibition game between Toronto and Buffalo/November 6, 1999 vs. New York Islanders Where: Copps Colisseum in Hamilton, Ontario. How: He gave me the stick after the game as he was walking into the dressing room. Comments: One thing kind of interesting about the stick is that Michal used a Dixon Ward blade. Also, this is exact stick that he used when he got into a fight with a Toronto player.

Yes, I got another Grosek stick. This time, I got it after a practice in St. Catharines, ON. The stick is the same as the other, only there is a BRANCHES blade. It is signed in blue. I got it on December 11, 1999.
