ITEM- Buffalo Sabres (old) jersey signed by most of the 1997/98 team. The players are: Brad May (twice), Rob Ray, Dominik Hasek, Vaclav Varada, Geoff Sanderson, Bob Boughner, Mike Ramsey, Lindy Ruff, Michal Grosek, Mike Peca, Steve Shields, Brian Holzinger, Derek Plante, and a few others that are indentifiable.
HOW?- The Buffalo Sabres came to town for an open practice. I thought that it would be a great chance to get as many autographs as I could. I ended up getting my jersey signed by almost the entire team. Can you imagine if they would have won the Stanley Cup that year, how much the jersey would be worth? It is probably already worth quite a bit since they went all the way to the Conference Finals.
ITEM - A Beckett book with Cam Neely and Adam Oates on the front signed by Cam Neely.
HOW? - "I was at the Bruins wives carnival (a time when you can meet all of the
players and get their auto's). I waited in line for a half/an/hour and finally got Cam Neely to sign a Beckett with a picture of him and Adam Oates on the cover. I got in line for Oates but he said he could not sign it for me and could only take a picture with me. I was so mad but at least I got
Neely to sign it for me. This is my Favorite autograph!"
ITEM- First I would have to say my 1988 Sprts Illustraded signed by Wayne Gretzky but that was a prize I had one. So I would have to ay anuthing that I have signed by Mr. Jarome Iginla. Like cards, photos, postcards etc.....
HOW- The World Junior Team tryouts were held in Moncton the year Iginla whent for the team. At this time I lived there and went to one of there practices. Iginla come of the ice and walk straight at us and started talking for no apparent reason (which was way cool). We talked about him being trade to Calgary the day before and etc... and signed some stuff for me. I must say in my own opinion! That Jarome Iginla is one of the classiest players out there and is very friendly and kind. Kind enough that he handed his stick over to an 8 year old boy while we were chatting away.
ITEM- A Theoren Fleury Team Canada Jersey from the 1998 Olympic Games, signed in black sharpie on the #4.
HOW- On December 27, 1998 I went to a Flames/Avalanche game at the dome with no intentions for getting Autographs. After the game me and my dad saw that the security was letting fans under the stands where the Flames leave. We decided to go down, I got many Flames' to sign my program. Then when Theo came out he signed my jersey, a HUGE thrill for me as I also shook his hand spoke with him. It may be just one of my Fleury sigs but it means the most to me!
ITEM- A 92/93 Upper Deck card #423 signed by both Brett Hull and Wayne Gretzky.
HOW- I got Hull to sign it in 1995 in front of the Kiel Center. We nearly got hit by a car, as he signed it while we crossed the street. I kept hoping to get Wayne to sign it, but he wasn't signing the time I saw him. Finally, in the Spring of 1999, Wayne signed the card for me
before getting onto the bus for a morning skate. 9 days later, he retired. I keep the card with me almost all of the time!

ITEM- A 98-99 Stanley Cup Program signed by Eddie Belfour and Blake Sloan.
HOW- When Eddie had the Cup in Chicago, some friends got him to sign it. A week later Blake Sloan had the Cup in a neighboring town, I went, had a pic taken with him and the Cup and he personalized my program to
me. Blake is such a nice guy, if any of you get a chance to meet him, do it, you won't regret it.
