Sibling Rivalry
I woke up the
next morning to quiet something it never was in our house. I went downstairs
and Mark and his girlfriend, who I refuse to like, were talking downstairs.
My sisters and I like to call her the wicked witch of the west. Her name
is Margaret. She always tells me I am so cute. I don’t want to be cute,
I want be sexy. Now watch and see what she says, you’ll see I’m right.
"Good Morning,
Hannah."
"Good Morning,
Margaret."
"Those pajamas
look so cute on you!"
See what did
I tell you. "Don’t roll your eyes at her, Hannah."
"Oh, get a life
Mark!"
"What’s going
on, I heard Mark yelling."
"It’s ok Betty,
Mark’s just having a little fit."
"Have you told
him yet?"
"Betty, how
am I supposed to tell Mark I’m pregnant with Justin’s baby?"
"I don’t know,
Just tell him." SO, I decided to tell Mark right then and there. I was
just scared how he was going to take it.
"Mark, I need
to tell you something."
"What, Hannah?"
"I’m pregnant
with Justin’s baby!"
"You WHAT!"
"That night
that you were gone, he came over, one thing led to another, next thing
I know, I’m pregnant."
"Hannah, you’re
just 19."
"Don’t you think
I know that, I know it’s gonna be hard on us to raise this baby."
"Hannah, What
Mark is trying to say is, he cares a lot about you and hates to see you
in this position."
"Oh, Shut up,
Margaret!"
"Hannah, can
I talk to you, privately?"
"Sure, Mark."
"Hannah, what
has happened to you?"
"What do you
mean by that?"
"It’s not like
you to do this."
"That shows
how
well you know me."
"Hannah, I don’t
wanna see you struggle to raise this baby."
"I know, but
if you think that for one minute I’m having a abortion.."
"Hannah, I would
never want that to happen."
"Mark, I know
you’re my big brother and all, but just let me handle Justin."
"You haven’t
told him yet?"
"Nope."
"When did you
find out?"
"Last night."
"Oh, so that’s
why Betty went to the store at 10:00 at night."
"Yup."
"Hannah, you
get a good nights sleep ok."
"I will." My
only problem now, was Justin.
