The bright red light blinded me momentarily and in a place that i never knew existed.
"Where are we?"i asked him.
"Welcome to hell"he said to me.
Great fear welled in my soul and i grabbed his arm very tightly. He felt me grabbed his arm and he looked at me.
"No need to fear none is going to hurt as long you are with me"he said reassuring me.
I looked all around i saw people that died and are judged to be here. Great cries of despair could be heard all around us and i saw other soul chasers guarding them. Then the soul chasers looked at me and started to draw their blades to take my soul from me. I hided behind him for protection against these other soul chasers were walking toward us. Their eyes glowed with inhuman red and wore the same thing as the soul chaser i was standing behind. The others stopped a few inches from us and i grabbed unto his vest for dear life.
"Please don't let them take me from you"i said in a pleading voice.
"She's my property if any of you decide to try take her soul you will have to deal with me"he said to them.
None of them stepped forward to challenge him and they made a path for us to walk by them. I held in his hand to whole time we walked by them and i put his arms around my waist to stay close to him.
"Chaser i have a question"i said to him.
"What is the question?"he said sounding little annoyed.
"I am sorry if i'm annoying you before will i have to become a soul chaser like you"i said to him.
"Yes if need be"he said to me.
"You need not worry about that yet"he said to me.
The more we walked the more i held his hand for dear life and i felt safe with him. The heat from hell was making me very lightheaded and dizzy. "chaser"i said before fainting on the ground.
A few minutes i found myself in darkened room with candles for the only light. I felt a icy cold cloth been pressed on my forehead to cool me off and i opened my eyes to find chaser the one taking care of me. I could see mixture of emotions playing his eyes and his face showed no emotion whatsoever.
"AAHH where am i?"i asked him.
"Welcome to my home"he said sitting next to me on the bed. I sat up and lend against the pillows behind me.
"I'm sorry i fainted but i guess i'm not used to this much heat here"i said to him.
"You'll get used to and plus the article of clothing you are wearing doesn't help you much"he said to me.
"I guess you're right"i said agreeing with him. He got up off the bed and went over to his dresser.He pulled out a vest,a leather pants,boots,and a bands for me to wear on my waist at all times. After finding the item he pushed the dresser drawer shut and walked back over to me.
"Here these might help you not to faint here"he said handing the articles of clothing.
"Umm chaser can you please exit the room for few minutes so i could get dressed"i asked him feeling shy in front of him.
"Please don't be mad with me for asking you to leave the room and i'll knock on the door for you to come in"I added.
"Ok i'm not mad i will never to get angry with you unless you make me"he said to me.
"Ok i'll try not to make you mad at me"i said to him.
"You need not fear me but be warned that i have a very bad temper and i will take out on you"he said to me.
"I understand"i said to him.
"How is it that you understand?"he asked me.
"Well i was with a man who very very bad temper and always took out on me,sometimes he even beat me"i said to him.
After saying that i looked down at my hands and i could not look back at him. He walked over to me and he sat right next to me. He tinted my head up for me to look at him.
"You need not worry about me hitting you i will never hit you b/c i've never see the point of it"he said to me.
"Thanks"i said to him. He got up from the bed and walked out of the room to allowed me to dress in my new clothes.
It took me a few minutes to finish getting dress and i knocked on the door for him. He opened the door and i walked over to him.
"I need help tie this vest up"i said to him.
"Sure"he said to me.
He walked over to me and tied it between loose and tight on me. Also he helped me put on the bands on my wrist and tied my hair half up half down. I felt little weird in this new attire but i figured i'll get used to it.
"You look very dangerous"he said to me.
"How do i look dangerous?"i asked him.
"Well for one thing you look like a natural soul chaser and another thing you're going to be trained as one"he said to me.
"When will my training begin?"i asked him.
"A few days from now and you must come with me on my missions"he said,
"When are these missions are going to take place?"i asked him.
"Whenever my master wants to me to go"he said to me.
"I hope you're getting mad at me for asking so many questions"i said to him fearing i was getting him mad.
"No i'm not getting mad at you but it's good that you are asking questions"he said to me. I breathed a slighted in relief.
"Come let me show you around"he said extended his hand to me.
I nod at him and put my hand in his.
We left the house and he gave me the grand tour of my new home. I saw different soul chasers around and they looked at me with appreciative glances.As we walked he was explaining to me all the roles of the soul chaser and that they were sent to bring souls who escape from hell.
"So you're like a bloodhound from hell"i said taking in the information i was learning from him.
"That's nice a way of putting it"he said to me.
"I guess i have a way with words" i said to him.
"I was raised around smart ass people who like to joke around"i added.
"I can see where you got your sense of humor from"he surmised.
"Yeah i guess"i said to him.
We walked until we got to a very huge castle.It looked like a castle from the middle ages and had very old gates that dated back from the dark ages. Guards were placed at each part of the castle and they wore all black clothing that was loose and allowed them to walk freely.
"What is this place?"i asked him.
"This is the master's castle"he said to me.
"Why are we here?"i asked him fearing for my life at this point.
"The reason we are here is because he's going to perform the ceremony and give me permission to train you"he said to me as we walked up to the gates.
"Chaser i'm afraid"i said to him.
He turned around to look at me and pulled me into his arms.
"You need not fear him longs i am here with you nothing is going to happened to you i will not allowed it"he said to me.
He kissed the top my forehead and we face back to the gates. We walked up and i held his hand for dear life. We walked up to the gates and the guard looked him then back at me. I started to shake with fear and i feared my legs would gave out on me while i was standing beside soul chaser.
"She's with me"he said to the guard.
The guard opened the gates and we walked right passed him. I could feel his eyes on me as we passed and chaser squeezed by my hand. I squeezed his hand back and we walked into the castle. Inside the castle was furnished with middle ages and current items. The red carpet laid on the floor and seemed run through out the castle. As we walked chaser become very quiet and he become very protective of me. He looked around at the other soul chasers who stared at me and their looks made me feel small. We walked until we got to two huge wooden doors with iron handles.
'No fear'i said to myself as we walked into the room.
Chapter 4:Ceremony
We walked into the room i saw a man sitting on a throne and flames were lit on both sides of it. He wore a black robe with skulls lining the sides of it. He also wore leather gloves that covered his hands and his pants were black as night with some kind of symbol of some kind in the sides. He looked to be at least 30 yrs of age or older,cold blue eyes flamed his face. His hair was black as raven's feathers,a short nose,a trimmed goatee. The room itself remained of a torture chamber or throne room with various paintings on the walls. Also the walls had looked to be blood running down them and a red fabrics was across the tops of the walls itself. A fire burned in the far corner of the room and a table with golden objects to the left of me.Dust was over them like they have never been cleaned in centuries. A foul smell filled my nose and made my stomach turn in knots wanted to vomit right there. But i could not and then guards were standing right next to him with a strange red armor almost the red of blood but darker.Chaser let go of my hand and lent before him. I walked beside chaser and lent before him too. A curious look came over his face and his hand stroked his thin goatee.He stood up from his seat and chaser stood up. Then i followed suit and we stepped back from the throne.He walked down from his throne and walked toward me.
Fear seized me and i was struck where i was standing.Instantly chaser stood right in front of me and the man stopped a few feet from him. The man crossed his arms in front him and looked at chaser with concern look.
"Chaser you know the penalty for bringing a mortal here"he said about the cast judgment on chaser.
"Wait"i said stepping from behind chaser.
"I came here of my own free will and he didn't force here either. it was my choice to come here"i said to him.
"I see chaser she has fiery side about her"the man commented.
"She does master"chaser said.
"Now then why you bring her her chaser?"the man asked staring at me.
'If looks could kill i would dead right now'i commented to myself.
"Surely my dear my looks would not kill you"he said to me.
"For i can read your mind"he added.
"Back to the matter hand"the man said to chaser.
"The reason i have bring here is b/c i've fallen in love with this woman and she has agreed to be mine for eternity"chaser said.
"You've what,you've fallen in love with a mortal woman"the man seemed very upset by this fact.
"Master"i said.
"Please don't be angry with chaser i've agreed to be his and your permission to train to be a chaser as well"i said to the man.
"But why is it you call me master you're not a soul chaser"the man said to me.
"I must learn to who the master is and learn to be submissive to you and chaser"i said to him.
"You've impressed me woman and chaser has my permission to train you,but"the master said pausing.
"But what master"chaser said fearing for my life.
"She must go through a series of changes and must change her name"the man said to chaser.
"Master i accept all these changes and i wish to ask a favor from you"i said.
"What is it woman"the man said to me.
Being referred to as a woman is getting me pissed off to say the least and I hide my angry from him.
"My request is for you to wed i and chaser for these changes to come"i said to the man.
He looked back at me and then back at chaser.
"Chaser did you put her up to this or it this way for way to go through her changes?"the man asked chaser.
"Master i did not put her up to this but this is way for her to change"the chaser said to the man.
"Master if we are wed then chaser can be my teacher to teach me to be soul chaser"i said to the man.
"I see that you very well woman and the request is granted"the man said to us. I lent before him to show my loyalty to him. After lending before him i got up and walked over to chaser. I stood right beside him.
"I'm very pleased with her chaser she shows great loyalty to me and to you"the man said to chaser.
"I agree master"chaser said.
"Then the ceremony will take place tonight"the man said to us.
He walked back to his throne and he sat down on it. I could hear him chanting in unspoken language and i felt weird of all sudden. Suddenly i cried out and went to my knees. Chaser knelt beside me and looked at him.
"Chaser what is happened to me?"i asked him.
"I don't know but look down at your clothes"Chaser to me.
I looked down at my clothes and i was shocked to see myself in black skin tight wedding dress. Chaser helped me to stand up and the dress had two slits coming up to my tighs. With leather boots coming to my knees and then wearing my hair up without anyone putting it up. I looked over at chaser. His eyes looked like they going to bug right of his head and i saw his mouth the word damn.Chaser walked behind me and put something on my neck.
"Chaser what are you putting on my neck?"i asked him.
"It's choker with my symbol in the middle plus it shows who you belong to"Chaser said referring to me as his property.
"I understand"i said to chaser.
I could feel his chest raise up and down,then his stomach muscles contract. In the mist of my and chaser's conservation the man stopped chanting and waiting for us to stop talking.After putting the choker chaser and i walked up the man but to me he was known the master now.I could feel my heart beat faster than before and i figured out i was nervous.'Come on girl breathe and get a grip'i said to myself. The master got up from his throne and stood before us. The master looked approval at me and then the ceremony begun. My knees were shaking the whole time but i showed no fear.I and chaser said our vows and i could feel my self changing slowly but surely.
"Now a pronounce you man and wife you may the bride chaser"the master to him.
He pulled me into his arms and dripped me. He lowered his lips to mine and the master smiled at him.He put on his hand on my back and put my arms around his head. Chaser pulled back from the kiss and he stood me up.Then terrible pain comes through my body and i cried out. I went to my knees and i grabbed my tummy. The pain so was agonizing and it felt like my body was being torn in two. Chaser and the master looked on as this pain went through my body and all of sudden just like it started it ended.I stood up and walked over to chaser.
"The changes have started"the master said to me.
"Yes master the changes have"i said to him.
Again i looked down to myself to see what i was wearing and again i was wearing something different again. I was wearing a official soul chaser outfit but a chucker was on my neck.
"Thank you master"we both said leading down before the master.
We stood up and walked out of the room.
