Val took one last drag on the cigarette before flicking it to the ground. Climbing into the drivers seat of his car, he pulled out of the parking space and headed toward the road, but slammed on the brakes when out of nowhere the tires of a truck squealed and flew to the entrance of the lot, blocking his way.
Val put his car into park and didn’t bother to turn it off before he opened his door, wanting to know who had enough guts to try to stop him from leaving. The driver of the other vehicle got out as well and rounded the back of his truck. Val waited until he stepped into the light from the nearby streetlight.
"Mark, what the hell are you trying to do?!" Val exclaimed. "And what the hell are you doing here?! The show has long been over!"
Val had no time to react before Mark had rushed him, grabbing him by the throat and slamming him into the side of his car.
"You listen to me Venis and you listen good. If I ever see you near that girl again, even the mortician won’t be able to piece your body back together." The Undertaker hissed through clenched teeth.
Normally Val’s cowardly side would have obeyed, but no one, absolutely NO ONE told him to stay away from any woman!
"Do I have something you want Mark?" Val asked in a sarcastic tone. "You jealous that she gave her attention to me instead of you?"
"I’m warning you Venis."
"And I heard you, but if we want to have a relationship, it’s our decision, not yours. And anyway, do you think that she would actually pick you when she could have someone like me?"
That did it. Mark drew his arm back and punched Venis as hard as he could, connecting with his nose and cheek. He dropped him and stepped away so the blood running from his nose wouldn’t get on him. With some of his anger spent, he turned and went back to his truck, glancing one last time at Venis who was wiping the blood away with the back of his hand and angrily looking at him. Smirking with satisfaction, he pulled his truck out of the lot and into the flow of traffic, the smile never leaving his face.
Val had to use his expensive shirt to cover his nose so the blood wouldn’t get on his leather seats. His anger showed in his driving, running just about everyone off the road. he had never been so angry!
‘You think that you can take my girlfriend away from me?’ he thought angrily as his grip on the steering wheel tightened. ‘Guess again. When I see something I like on a woman, I’ll always have my way with her.’
He sped up until he could see Alicia’s small gray car in front of him. His eyes glittered as a thought came to his mind and the expensive sport car sped up, following her to her home.
‘Always.’
