I pulled back from the kiss. I ran my hand down his face and a tear came down his face. I wiped the tear away with my finger. I too was had tears coming down my face as well he wiped the tears away from one finger.
"Mark I have to go work" I said with some sarcasm.
"Can't you call in sick?" he asked kissing my fingers.
I felt the desire starting to course through my body. "Mark I have to work, but you can take me to work" I said looking into his eyes. "Please" I said giving him the sad puppy eyes and pouting my bottom lip.
"OK" he said with such excitement in his voice.
"Thank you and oh shit I'm going to be late" I said looking down at my watch. My watch readied 4:30pm and I had 5 minutes to get to work.
"Coming on then Anne" he said picking me up off the ground and placing on the seat right behind him.
"Mark I don't know how to ride on a motorcycle" I said with fear and curiosity. "Please I don't think it would be appropriate for me ride a motorcycle with this on" I said indicating my waitress attire.
"Don't worry Anne just throw caution to wind and hang on" he said starting up the bike.
"I don't believe I'm doing this" I said as he pulled into street. I put my arms around his waist and lend my head against his back. People were just staring at us epically me in my work clothes. Some women looked at me with envy in their eyes and some men looked at me with such looks that I wanted to disappear. I sat up and whispered in his ear. "Mark I think some women are jealous of me".
"Yeah and some men are jealous of me because I have such a beautiful woman riding with me" he added.
"I agree" I whispered back and placing light kisses down his neck. He shivered from me kissing his neck..
"Damn that woman" he said under his breath making sure I could not hear him. He drove in and out of the driving lines like bat of hell. I hung on for dear life and "damn" I said. I gave him the directions to get to the cafe.
"I already know where it is" he said to me.
"How do you know where it is?" I asked him.
"Well... ummm.... I.... followed you everywhere you went" he said very fast so I could not understand him.
"I know and I always felt you were near somehow" I said. We finally arrived at the cafe and the roar of a motorcycle brought some of my co-workers out. "Oh great just what I need those tramp women around my man" I hissed very low that he could not hear me.
"I hear that Anne" he said parking the motorcycle in the parking lot.
"Geez now my man has hearing of dog" I said trying to be serious. He kicked down the kick stand and turned off the bike.
"Oh Anne can you let me go" he said.
"Ok" I said and very carefully I tried get off the bike. I unwrapped my arms from his waist, but he just picked me up from the seat, placed me on the ground. "Thank you" I said feeling little blush coming on my cheeks. Out of the corner of my right eye I saw my best friend Michelle coming.
"Hey Anne" she said walking toward me keeping some of tramp women away.
"Michelle helped me get this job" I said introducing Michelle to Mark.
"Nice to meet you" she said. "Damn Anne" she said looking at me.
"Mark I call you when I get off" I said kissing his cheek.
"Ok or I might just pop on to get something to eat" he said with a smart ass grin on his face.
"Ok Mr. Smartass keep it up" I said to him laughing.
"Come on Anne before the boss chews both our asses" she said pulling me away from him. It took all her strength to pull me away from him. He revved up the bike and blew a kiss to me. I turned around and caught the kiss. I blew one back to him before he left the parking lot and out of my sight. "Thank you Michelle for keeping those co-workers away from us, I really appreciate it" I said.
"No problem Anne" she said. "How long have you known him?" she asked
"Well actually he's my husband and I walked out on him a few months ago" I said.
"What you got to be kidding me right?" she asked.
"I wish I was Michelle and I caused him so much pain that I live with everyday" I said.
"I'm glad you two got back together" she said.
"There was a song that I listened to while riding on that plane" I said remembering that day I left.
"What song would that be" she asked.
"Let Me Let Go by Faith Hill off that Message In the Bottle sound track" I said with hints of tears coming to my eyes.
Michelle heard me trying to hold back on my tears from falling. "Anne are you OK?" she asked with concern in her voice.
"Yeah I'm fine" I said trying to hide how I really felt. That song rang in my mind over and over when I left him so many months ago.

Meanwhile Mark was at his apartment thinking. Thinking about me and how he came so close to losing me again. He rubbed his arms and his mind went back we had our date. Mark chuckled at the memory of it. "Ever since she left those few months ago I've heard this song so many times I know it by heart" he said istening to the radio. The song he was referring to was Back To Your Heart by Backstreet Boys off their cd called Millennium and he didn't know that I was listening to the same radio station that tonight.
Costumers came in and were gone just as quick and the time went by slow for me.
"Geez it's only 8:30pm I thought it was 9:30"I said to myself while wiping down the tables. Several of my co-workers(females) were talking about Mark looked so damn and how they could toll his bell. I started to how very angry but I knew I was the one hat could "toll that bell" of his. That very thought brought a smile my face. I shook it very quickly.
"Hey Anne" called Michelle
"Yeah" I called back to her.
"I got an idea why don't make a request to him?" she asked me.
"I don't think the boss would allow me while I'm on the clock, Michelle. But thanks for the idea" I said returning to wiping down the tables away the costumers left.
"But what she don't know won't hurt" she said with evil grin on her face.
'Hand it to Michelle' I said to myself. Finally after weighting the pros and cons of this, I decided to do it. I walked over to the phone and dialled the number to the station.
"Hello this 97.1 After hours." the voice said at the other end
Mark had just walked out of the room when he heard my voice on the radio.
"Hi, my name is Anne and I would like to request and dedication" I said to the another person on the another end.
"OK" the voice said.
"This is to man I love with my heart and he has brought me so happiness into my life." I said tears starting to fall.
"What is his name?" the voice asked.
"His name is Mark and the song I request is Because You Loved by Celine Dion".
"OK" the voice said.
"This dedication is for Mark from Anne who loves you with all her heart" the voice said before playing the song.

Mark listened to the whole song and tears came down his face. He wiped the tears away as the song started to come to a close. I went back to work after making the request over the radio. I sang along with the song with my voice being very low so no one could hear me.
"You chose that song very prefectly Anne"Michelle said wiping the table beside me.
"I know it speaks how i feel about him and sums it up"i said smiling to myself.
"I'm happy for you Anne i wish i could that someone"she said sadly.
"Michelle i think i might know who feels the some way you do"i said.
"Anne are you talking about to playing cupid or to be more correct matchmarker"she said acussely and rolling her eyes at me.
"No why i would mess with fate,but guide it along"i said
"Anne you're impossible" she said continuing wiping tables.
Meanwhile Mark called the radio station too.
"Hello this 97.1 After hours"the voice said
"Hey Anne Anne"Michelle yelled
"Yeah Michelle"I said to her.
"Hi. i like to make a request and deadication"he said choking back limp in his thorat.
"It's l your loverboy on the radio"Michelle said to me
"Oh My"I said with a faraway look in my eyes
"Ok"the voice said.
"The song i would to request and deadicate is Truly,Madly,Deeply by SavrageGarden for Anne whom i love more than life itself,it's from Mark to Anne"he said.
"I Love that song Michelle,it's one of persoanl favorites"I said to Michelle
"Yeah i guess it's his favorite to"Michelle said to me

I was starstruck while listening to the song and happy tears went down my face.
"Oh My Goodness"i said putting my hands to my lips.
"See Anne"she said.
She gave me the look i named I Told U So.
"Ok ok Michelle" i said raising my hands in mock giving up.
All the other women looked it with envry and jeolous in their eyes and hearts.
"Eat your hearts ladies"i said very pound of myself for having very special in my life.
But i remembered i could've not had anyone special in my life at all.
"I almost threw it out the window "i whispered to myself .
Mark looked at his watch and it read 10:00pm.
"Time to get Anne"he said and thinking of what he had stored for me.
He walked out the front door and left to come get me.
"It's 10:00pm it's about damn time"i said cleaning and wiping down all the tables.
I went into the back room and clocked out.
"I can't wait until he gets here" i said thinking about what i was going to do to him when we got to his apartment.
