A.J. (Aaron Joseph) Suggs is one of the South's premier drop-back passing QBs...He threw for almost 2,000 yards as a junior...led team to a 10-2 record and state playoff berth...Has firm scholarship offers from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Georgia.  Tennessee appears to be the early leader for Suggs' services, as Vol Offensive Coordinator David Cutcliffe has made a great impression on Suggs...Cutcliffe is known for his close mentorship of Heath Shuler and Peyton Manning, Tennessee's last two starting QBs, both of whom were the first QB selected in the first round of the NFL draft...Suggs is also interested in Auburn and Florida State, though the Noles have not shown much interest in him yet.  Suggs has visited
Tennessee, Georgia and Notre Dame unofficially...A.J. says one of his goals is to win an SEC Title, and he feels he will have that opportunity, year in and year out, at Tennessee.  Suggs is a doubly attractive QB prospect because he is set to graduate early and enroll in college at midterm, making him eligible for spring practice next year.
