Last Rugby at Boundary Park

The Latics have revealed that Oldham Rugby League will play their last game at Boundary Park this weekend. The Rugby League team will face Leigh Centurions on Sunday knowing that they will have to play the rest of the season somewhere else. The Latics have decided that the state of the pitch was being seriously affected, and new turf will have to be put down. Chief Executive Alan Hardy revealed: "Pitch consultants have told us that if the surface at Boundary Park is to be ready for the start of the new football season, then they must make a start of the renovation work by early June."
Instalment deal for season tickets

Although almost 14% more season tickets have been sold compared to this time last year there is still a deal for potential buyers. An easy payment plan is available for fans who want to spread the cost of the ticket over the season. An adult season ticket in the Seton Stand would cost £28.44 a month for 9 months, a total of £255.96 which is a saving of £90 against normal match day prices.
Teamtalk Bury

Bury have assured fans that they will not be left behind in the wake of Oldham Athletic's controversial link up with Leeds United. Chairman Terry Robinson has admitted that there have been approaches from two teams already proposing a similar arrangement to that of Leeds/Oldham. However, as the league's rules state that clubs can not hold or deal in another club's shares, there would need to be wholesale changes made before such deals could go ahead. Mr. Robinson stated that "Over the last twelve months two clubs have approached us at a minor level to see if we would be interested in getting involved with them if the regulations allowed it." He also went on to emphasise the club's desire to be involved in any future deals and also the risks of being left behind. "We wouldn't have the resources to compete, facility-wise, nor would we have the drawing power of being associated with a big name club."
