Teaching:
I have been doing private teaching and supervisions since my second year at university in Ecuador to High school and university students mostly Physics and Mathematics. Soon after finishing my master thesis I enrolled to The Universidad San Francisco de Quito in which I was teaching the subjects of Mathematics, Science Seminar and Introduction to Astronomy.

Research interests
My main field of interest concerns Solid State Physics and Nanotechnology. Among these areas I have worked in computer modeling and theoretical work of crystal and hybrid structures of various materials. My Ph.D. work focused on experimental work of nano-devices. This included the used and construction of vacuum chambers for thin film growth of multilayered structures of various materials. My experimental skills include: film growth using sputtering and e-gun evaporation techniques, characterization of materials using X-ray diffraction, VSM-SQUID magnetometers and ultra low temperature measurements with field.

August 2000 - December 2003
Subdirector.- CORFFA
