Playing Style:
Has developed a defensive game under coach Kevin Constantine, Slegr's no longer a one-dimensional defenseman...a power play specialist with a hard shot from the point...fluid skater with great balance...if pressured enough, will fork the puck over often...can and should clear opponents out of the crease with his large build...keeps his stick up to avoid hits...still waiting for his "breakout" season.
