Academia Alexandre Paiva main academy is located in Leblon, with 3 affiliate academies in other cities of Brazil.

In Leblon, Alexandre's team is composed of himself as the head instructor, as well as instructor Roberto Miranda (black belt), and assistant instructors Marcos Meirelles (brown belt), Orlandino Jnior (brown belt), Nei Seda (brown belt), and Daniela Figueiredo (brown belt).

Holding classes for:

  • Men and Women
  • Adults and children
  • Group and private

Daniela Figueiredo, Alexandre's wife and accomplished competitor in her own right, is the main instructor for the women's classes and the children's classes.

In a pioneer project, Alexandre is expanding the academy teachings to the slums of Cantagalo, Pavo, and Pavozinho, focusing on the youths of those communities whom may not have the means to attend most Jiu-Jitsu academies. The main instructor for this academy project is Fernando Terer (brown belt). Fernando is the 1998 Mundial Champion of the Purple belt leve and absolute categories.

Alexandre's remaining two academy branches are located in the neighborhood of Mier, Rio de Janeiro, and in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, ES. The instructor in Mier is Haroldo "Cabelinho" Bunn (brown belt), and in Cashoeiro de Itapemirim is Fabrcio Dpes (brown belt). Both academies are operated by these instructors under the direct supervision of Alexandre.

Information on registration, monthly fees, and group private or individual private classes can be obtained by calling the academy, by fax, or through e-mail.
