6/1/09 - Here's a little synopsis of the Spring 09 season: We decide to move up to the U16 age group a season early just for the competition. We started out wonderfully by beating the defending U16 City Champions The Force. Followed that up by playing some decent soccer against our next few opponents, then fell backwards towards the end of the season. Sometimes we played great, competitive soccer and other times it was just lazy, uncaring soccer. Finished the season in 5th place out of 8 teams so we faired better than some. Will take a few months off and then start preparing for the Fall season.

1/24/09 - Okay I did not post anything last season, so here's a little re-cap: we won every league game, we FINALLY won the Mesquite Spookout tournament, amd we won the City Championship game 2-1 over the Scorpions. At the State tourney in Decemeber, we beat Dallas East 1-0, tied Denton 2-2 and beat Irving 6-0. In the quarterfinals we beat Wylie 2-0 and then we lost to Dallas East in the semi 3-1. Our season ended without reaching the State final but we'll work harder next year and try again.

7/12/08 - BEEN AWHILE (OBVIOUSLY) - I'LL TRY TO BE BETTER THIS YEAR.

3/04/07 - Our first league game was a 5-0 victory over Club America. With out any subs, the boys dominated play and did not allow a shot on goal. We'll see them again and will expect a tougher time....

2/26/07 - Well, it didn't end up the way we would have liked - but the tournament was a great experience. The people of Cleburne were nice and they have a great complex. The Saturday games went well: 2-0 over Waco Arsenal, 0-0 against Glen Rose Pumas, and 4-0 over Crowley Raiders. Besides the middle game - we played very well. The semi-final on Sunday morning was a 5-0 win against Mineral Wells Rockets and that was probably our best game of the tournament. we controlled every aspect of the game and had high hopes for the final. Going down 1-0 pretty quickly and then managing a last second goal to force overtime was great. However; we gave up another quick one in the added period and could not come back.

2/17/07 - As we get ready for the Spring 07 season, I'd just like to welcome everybody back. I look forward to the team growing and becoming better and we'll start by attending the Cleburne Tournament next week.

2/07/07 - Hang with me as I try to transition this website from my 88s to my 95s. It will take awhile and I will keep as many memories of the 88s up here as I can.
