A Caligramme

In French today we wrote poems that make pictures called caligrammes. Since my graphics program currently doesn't handle making text into little shapes, I'll just write the poem normally and put a little drawing of how the caligramme would be shaped below it. It's in french, so for non-french speakers there's also a translation under it (it sounds pretty bad either way, so...)
La vie est un corridor noir,
d'affliction et despoir.
Alors!

English Translation:
Life is a black hallway
of distress and despair.
But look! There is a light
at the end of the tunnel like a lighthouse.
What is it? It's my love!
It's the person that I adore.
Don't go! You're my happiness!
If you leave, my life is horror.
It is this that I said to him,
and he left.
Life is a black hallway
of distress and despair.
