Industrial and System Engineering

Objective of the work

Our objective in this work, was that all the people who where interested in this career, knew it as it is. This made possible, by the intensive investigation in several different universities all around the world (United States, England, Mexico, Scotland, etc...).

The career in the present is a career that is evoluting a lot, that is taking a change and progressing as the people in the world learn and grows more. This career is a good life insurance because with Industrial and System Engineering you have a knowledge very general, so when someone that is graduated from ISE knows about every job it is put in front of him.

Career Objective

The objective of the career is to make that the new profesionists get able to work and be accepted on them with not a lot of difficulties, so this is why the universities are making an improvement on their way of giving the classics and making activities that would prepare in a better way to the students to design and direct productive systems, in the private industry as in the public sector, in the different kind of business.

Area where an ISE works?

Manufacturing firms and science industries hire a significant number of IES. Today, more and more business hire ISE in areas like sales and marketing, finance, information, systems and personnel. Corporation as diverse as Coca-Cola, UPS, Disney, IBM, Levy Strauss, Nike, Ford, etc...

It could be working in manufacturing industries in the department of:

- Projects

- Ensambling

And in organizations as: - Banks

- Public Administration

- Industrial Promotion

- Industrial Development

What do Industrial Engineers do?

Industrial engineers (IES) figure out how to do things better. They engineer processes and systems that improve quality and productivity. IEs make significant contributions to their employers by saving money while, at the same time, making the workplace better for fellow workers. If you want to be a part of a profession dedicated to quality and continuous improvement, consider Industrial Engineering as your career of choice.
