SYDNEY (Reuters)(DS) - Double US Open champion Pat Rafter's rift with Mark Philippoussis, wich
started after the latter pulled out of Australia's Davis Cup semifinal clash against Brazil last month, is
threatening to split the Australian camp at the Olympics.

Rafter has attacked Philippoussis for his lack of commitment to team competitions and thinks his
compatriot will not turn up for a pre- Olympic training camp in Sydney with coach Tony Roche after
the U.S. Open.

Rafter told Sydney's Daily Telegraph: "I'm sure he'll (Philippoussis) do his own thing. He may take
part in the camp, but I can't see it. If he doesn't want to be part of Davis Cup, I can't see him wanting
to be part of a team at the Olympics, where we're competing as individuals anyway.

"I can't really see us wanting to watch his matches and I'm sure he won't be out there watching us.
That's okay, no big deal. We'll just stick to ourselves," Rafter said of teammates Lleyton Hewitt, Mark
Woodforde, Todd Woodbridge and Andrew Ilie.

"The Scud" and Rafter are both playing at this week's Tennis Masters Series in Canada but
conversations are not expected to be amicable.

"As far as I'm concerned, if he wants to talk, we can talk. But he's got a lot of rebuilding to do," the
former world number one said.

Philippoussis withdrew from the Brazil tie citing soreness in his left knee and fatigue after reaching
Wimbledon's quarter-finals, making his long-expected decision to pull out of the Davis Cup the day
before Rafter was to play the final at the All-England Club against Pete Sampras.
