I'M HERE!!!!! Sorry guys, I just got back to my computer this morning (I
stayed at home Saturday and Sunday ngihts).....what a deluge of emails,
sweet surprise. Listening to Fay Wong right now - she's very good:) The
plane ride home was bittersweet. I felt as if I was slowly tighening up,
getting ready for Yale and trying to convince myself that Spring Break was
really over and it was Okay. But these feelings remain despite my best
efforts at repression:
-the two weeks went by very quickly it now seems in retrospect.
-I have deep feelings of friendship for the people on this trip and it is
difficult to think our relationships will for the most part now be part of
cyberspace.....
-Like Han2 said, is IS difficult to talk about the trip to other people
because it was a complex complex experience. The Religion, the culture,
the FOOD, the people (both groups ina new setting), our own personal
issues, school work and etc etc

Soooooo, here I am back at Yale dreaming (during the day and night) of
slippery tiles and rice rolls. Of Cherry's round eyes and Janice getting
calls on her pink cell phone every five minutes! Wai? Ah, Connie-ah! Lei
ho ma? Little details that stick in my head about everyone...Argo's huge
eyes and long long eyelashes and the way Chu Ching smiles so quickly and
then covers it up:) For me it is the innumberable little details and
moments that have made this trip so beautifula nd funny and special as I
look back on it now.

You all had SO MUCH PATIENCE!!! Lord help us - you were all so patient and
helpful. Connie-ah and Daphne-ah, the evening we spent at your houses was
so interesting and happy! Esta/Ester, you are a goof-cadet - try finding
that in the dictionary!

Okay, this is getting sappy but my body can't decide if it is 12:30a.m. (in
CT) or 2:30p.m. (in HK) so I don't know if I'm tired or awake- BOTH BOTH
BOTH.

Good night all!

right, you are the first Yalies who wrote to us, where are the rest? Maybe
they are so tired that they are still sleeping! You know what? I had my
Psychology Quiz yesterday, though I did not studied much because I spent
most of my time with you guys, I scored the highest! I simply can't
believe that! This is the new thing that I can add to 'my happiest moment'
list.

can simply imagine how Han Han looked like with she was day-dreaming: with
her month half opened, eyes half closed, and just sat there like a statue!!

We CUHKers can meet easily. We are going to have BBQ at DR Man's home this
Sunday!
