Dear Dephanie, Natalie and Tung Tung,

First of all, I would like to congradulate Tung Tung for having achieving a
goal (losing of more than 20 pounds). I can say that it's not an easy task
because it's so difficult to correct one's habit, moreover, it' s not a
short term task, rather, it is a life long task because it is easy to go
back to the old eating pattern again when one feels frustrated or unhappy.
So I hope you would strenthen your mentality by telling yourself why you are
doing this on one hand, on the other hand, be prepared to face frustrations
and tell yourself never to go back again because it would waste your
previous time and efforts, the most important, your self -confidence. I
wish you could succeed in every aspect of your life and to a large extent,
fulfill your own goals! KEEP ON TRYING! YOU CAN DO IT!

In responding again to Dephanie's question about the relations with
colleagues, you may discover more and more about yourself, like who are you,
your pros and cons, the most important, how you view yourself. Remember
your experience in CAGA, actually you really did a great job at your age of
20, if I had done or said anything which might make you feel upset or
unimportant, I should have apologised to you because I tend to be very
demanding to those persons who were close to me. I was very loose to my
staff in ASSA and CAGA, because it was my first time to be a boss of them
and I could not handle them very well. I think you are a very helpful,
responsible who is able to co-ordinate the work. Moreover, you are easy to
mix with people and people would accept you very easily. To me, getting
acceptance from people is more important than demonstrating the ability at
the first beginning because one should see the dynamics among those people
first before you know what roles should you perform. In fact, a staff is a
proble solver to boss, not a problem creator, if anything goes wrong among
colleagues, one will solve the problems themselves instead of gossiping it
or complaining it to your boss. Otherwise, they would become those people
who only plays politics instead of doing things.

When you really go out to the society, you would see different kinds of
bosses, it's really good to learn from them. As you can see that different
kinds of managing style create diff. co culture and working atmosphere, you
can learn from all of them even though they are unable to manage the
company. Their ability can be a very good demonstrator to you for you don't
need to go through all of them by yourself , you can just learn from what
you have seen and analysed. So keep your eyes wide open this summer, don't
be afraid of failing, I have been failing for so many times, if I can be a
successful manager, I would tell you that I have paid very expensive fees
for it! The most important thing is to realise why you fail and remember it
not to fail at the same problem again.

Some people may standout themselves by making others feel impotent, when you
meet these people, I'm sure you know how to handle them! In terms of
interpersonal relationship, I think you have a good teacher at home, Your
Mother, she is really skillful and brilliant in developing relations with
other people. Under her influence for 20 years, I think you would get to
know more and more!

I think I need to apologise for all of you because we were quite frustrated
this morning and when I think of your mother's acceptance towards us, we
feel more quilty too!

If you have anything to share with us, you are welcome to e-mail to me!

With love,

Maria
