Jental Jiants Twilight Cricket Team
The JJ's were established in 1998 via funding from the NZ Dairy Board social club to provide an opportunity for Dairy Board employees to participate in a social form of outdoor cricket. The name Jental comes from the awful purple and white shirts we wear which surprisingly we had no trouble obtaining from a Dairy Board Jental milk powder promotion. Jental milk powder is a lactose hydrolysed whole milk powder designed for the lactose intolerant Asian market.
The JJ's compete in the
Hutt Valley Twilight Cricket Competition run on Wednesday evenings.
