Katie Smith: Returned from injury with the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx to become a MVP candidate, also a 2000 All-Star.

Natalie Williams:Starzz for the Utah Starzz as the WNBA's double-double leader. 2000 All-Star.

Taj McWilliams: Led the Orlando Miracle into the 2000 WNBA playoffs and represented for the East in the All-Star Game.

Limor Mizrachi: Planned on going to Europe after the ABL. Was not drafted in the WNBA draft

Katy Steding: Saw some minutes this season coming off the bench as a member of the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs.

Elaine Powell: A spark of the Miracle bench, Powell missed the end of the 2000 WNBA season with a painful knee injury.

Jen Azzi:After contemplating retirement, Jen returned to the WNBA with the Utah Starzz. She suffered a broken hand in the early part of the 2000 season but returned to team up with Natalie Williams and her new teammates.

Sylvia Crawley: Her first season in the WNBA came in 2000 and Sylvia Crawley made her presence felt as the star and captain of the expansion Portland Fire. Candidate for Newcomer of the Year Award.

Delisha Milton: Teamed with National teammate Lisa Leslie, Milton has helped lead the Sparks into the late playoffs as LA searches for the WNBA crown.

Dale Hodges: Went to play in Greece after the ABL.

Sheri Sam: After being released by the Orlando Miracle, Sam prospered as a star for the expansion Miami Sol in the 2000 season.

Teresa Edwards: Chose not to play in the WNBA and instead has been training on her own and playing pickup games with guys in her Georgia home. Not to worry, Edwards will bein in top shape as she looks for another gold with USA in her record 5th Olympics in Sydney.

Chasity Melvin: Starter for the surprising contenders Cleveland Rockers.

Kara Wolters: Member of the US Olympic team and starting center for the WNBA's expansion Indiana Fever.

Carolyn Jones-Young: A knee injury and a baby put Jones-Young on hold. Is a member of the WNBA's Portland Fire.

Jen Rizzotti: Splitting time with another ABL alum, Coseuqe Washington, as the Comets again battle in the postseason.

Vicki Hall:A spark for the playoff-bound Cleveland Rockers, Hall is coming off the bench and getting minutes as the team deals with injuries. .

Michelle Marciniak:Became an integral part of the Portland Fire WNBA expansion team this season.

Shalonda Enis: Dealing with an achilles injury throughout the 2000 season, Shalonda Enis adjusted to life as a member of the Charlotte Sting. Look for a healthy Enis to silence doubters who criticized the Bullett/Enis trade.

Kate Starbird: Sees some action as a member of the WNBA's Utah Starzz. Check out her column, Stargazing, on WNBA.com

Niesa Johnson:Will accept assistant coach position at her high school in Clinton, Mississippi. A member of the Charlotte Sting as a backup guard.

Christy Hedgepeth:Career is probably over. Not particularly interested in WNBA or Europe. Recently had decided to go to Duke to get her Masters degree.

Kate Paye: Considering applying to graduate school where she would pursue a joint masters in business and law.

Naomi Multiauaopele: Had applied to Seattle School District to develop mentor programs for children and teens. In 2000 she got her shot with the WNBA and came off the bench for the Utah Starzz. An intriguing story, you should check out her spotlight on CNNSI.com

Val Whiting: Val played in 99 for the Detriot Shock. Unsure of her status in basketball now, please e-mail me if you have any info! ([email protected])

Tonya Edwards: Starting guard for the Phoenix Mercury.

Andrea Lloyd: Started out with the Lynx but another injury has forced her to re-focus and brings up possible retirement.

Sonja Tate: Sees some action as a member of Agler's Minnesota Lynx.

Angie Pothoff: Sees little time as a reserve for the Minnesota Lynx.

Crystal Robinson: Fighting off injuries, Robinson now comes off the bench behind Becky Hammon for the New York Liberty. Still known as a deadly shooter throughout the league.

Tari Phillips: Starting center for the New York Liberty, became an All-Star in the Big Apple. Just received the WNBA's Most Improved Player Award. .

Edna Campbell: Stars for the expansion Seattle Storm, injuries kept her from being an All-Star.

Kedra Holland-Corn: Starting at shooting guard for the Sacramento Monarchs during the 2000 season.

Debbie Black: Still at it as the fiery starting point guard for the expansion Miami Sol.

Andrea Nagy: Ended the season on the injured list as the Mystics made their playoff run, was their starting point guard, finished 5th in the league in assists.

Adrienne Goodson: Among the top scorers in the WNBA, literally stars for the Utah Starzz.

Clarissa Davis-Wrightsil: Drafted by Phoenix Mercury in second round, 22nd overall. Was putting up some good numbers but apparently there were problems within the team and she was waived. Hasn't been picked up by another team.

Lisa Harrison: A consistent player and fan favorite as a member of the Phoenix Mercury.

Charlotte Smith: Member of the WNBA's Charlotte Sting.

Tracy Henderson: Sees some minutes as a member of the Cleveland Rockers.

Astou Ndiaye: Averages in double figures as one of the Detroit Shock's best players.

Sonja Henning: Starting point guard for the expansion Seattle Storm.

Clarisse Machanguana: Doesn't see a whole lot of minutes with the LA Sparks but is a sought-after player who is a major reason for LA's success. Part of many trade rumors.

La'Keshia Frett: Sees limited action on the LA Sparks.

Tammy Holder: Returned to Richmond. Keeping coaching options open. Was coaching a five week summer camp in South Carolina.

Angela Beck: Options include coaching or consulting in the WNBA, college, or writing a book about the ABL.

Lauretta Freeman: Thanks for posting this info-- Freeman has been hired as an administrative assistant at Auburn by former coach Joe Champi.

Danielle McCulley: Member of the expansion Indiana Fever, sees around 15 minutes a game.

Dana Wynne: Played in the Pan American Games for the United States, averaging 3.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg, shooting 52.6 percent from the field, and contributing 6 steals in the tournament. Unsure of present status, e-mail me if you've heard anything!

Katryna Gaither: Played in the Pan Am Games, averaging 1.2 points a contest and 1.3 rebounds a game. Unsure of present status, e-mail me if you've heard anything!

Anita Kaplan: Received an office job in Silicon Valley.
