Kay Noble lives in St. Louis. She was married to pro wrestler Doug Gilbert. The girl who tarred and feathered her husband was Verne Bottoms who was married, and at one time managed husband Jack Donovan.

Noble took to the ring when she was a mere teenager. The mat speedster started out under the careful eye of St. Joseph promoter Gus Karras and was an immediate sensation, earning much magazine coverage as a rookie for bouts against already established lady wrestlers such as Penny Banner. At one point she was married to Doug Gilbert, another popular young mat star of the mid-'60s.
