The most famous series of wrestling matches in the history of women's competition took place between Judy Grable and Fabulous Moolah. It was after a tournament final victory over Grable on September 18, 1956, that Moolah began her incredible 28-year reign as champion. For those fans not fortunate enough to see the high-flyer (Grable) and brawler (Moolah) tear into each other, their ring fury was preserved by the great grappling photographer Bob Utter and displayed for many years in penny arcade machines in fair midways from coast to coast.
