From Madison Square Garden
Bud: Well, hello from New York City! I'm Bud McMormick, along with Jim Thomas, and this IS Super Saturday Night, live from Madison Square Garden. We are back after three months of updating our league, and tonight is the night that the wait pays off!
Jim: Ooooooweee! That's right, Bud. A new SWF World Champion will be crowned tonight in our Championship Tournament, and the losers of the semi-finals will battle it out next week for the Intercontinental Championship!
Bud: But first, let's go to the ring where our very own Commish and Vice-Commishes are standing by.
(The screen pans to the ring where four men in suits are standing. The Commish, one of the men, is holding a microphone.)
Commish: We are back!!! The Super Wrestling Federation is proud to announce its official re-opening here tonight, in front of a sold out 18,673 Madison Square Garden!!!
(crowd cheers)
Commish:I would like to introduce you to our new staff. On my right, Stallion, our vice-commissioner! To his right, is Macintosh, who is also a vice-comissioner, taking the place of the man on HIS right, Double G, who is having cardiovascular surgery next week. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all wrestlers good luck. Thank you.
Match 1 - The Rat vs. Hail
Bud: Well, they grapple and the SWF is officially back in business! The Rat
starts out by sending Hail to the ropes, and he ducks the closeline. Now it is
Hail ducking a closeline, and running into the oppossite ropes. He comes back and... A BEAUTIFUL
kick to the stomach by The Rat. Hail is bent over now, and The Rat perfectly executes a
neck braker!
Jim: The Rat seems as if he hasn't lost a pace. The SWF shut down with him as the champ, and now he wants to make sure that it opens up with him as the champ.
Bud: But he'll have to recover from the suplex that he was just given by Hail, who looks eager himself. Hail works the crowd, and proceeds to give a series of elbow drops to the former SWF World Champ. He picks The Rat up, and sends him into the turnbuckle. Hail now runs to "big splash" The Rat, BUT THE RAT MOVED!!! Hail is on the mat. Now The Rat is looking around and...yes...RAT STOMP!!! The Rat goes for a pin. 1,2,3!!! It's over, and The Rat moves on one step closer to becoming the next SWF Champ.
Jim: What an agile move that was. I think that all the training The Rat has
been doing in the past 3 months is paying off here.
RESULT - - The Rat d. Hail via pinfall
Bud: What a match that was. This is shaping up to be one of the greatest Super Saturday Nights, ever.
Match 2 - - Axel Dreamer vs. X-Boarder
Bud: Axel Dreamer has made a strong return since February, when he swore that
he would never wrestle in the SWF again. Now, here he is, throwing X-Boarder
down on the mat in the form of a body slam. Dreamer picks up X-Boarder now,
and kicks him in the stomach. Now, Axel takes X-Boarder into his arms,
and DDT's him! Axel goes for a pin. 1,2..no. Couldn't get him.
Jim: This match has been All Axel Dreamer, and X-Boarder may as well be sitting in the stands.
Bud: Watch out X-Board...too late!!! Dreamer just hit a flying body drop from the top rope. 1,2,3. It it over. Dreamer easily defeats X-Boarder and moves onto the next round.
RESULT - - Dreamer d. X-Boarder via pinfall
Bud: That was a great match, for Axel Dreamer. X-Boarder will be feeling the effects of that one tomorrow morning, eh Jim?
Jim: I almost pity the man, but in essence, he did it to himslef. Too many calories during the offseason makes for losing in the inseason.
Match 3 - - Devil vs. Insane Surgeon
Bud: Devil comes into the ring, with the lights out, and these fans are really quiet.
Jim: I can't see a thing.
Bud: Insane Surgeon now take Devil and attempt to throw him over the ropes, but Devil reverses it. Now Insane Surgeon is on the outside, and Devil tries to lunge himself into the mental case, but he missed! Devil is now bleeding on the floor. The lights have just gone out here, and I can not see any of the action.
Jim: What in the hell is going on here?
Bud: The lights are slowly going back on now, and...where's Devil? Insane Surgeon is in the ring, with blood all around his mouth, but he doesn't appear to be cut?!?! The ref begins to count out Devil now. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. Insane Surgeon wins this one, oddly.
RESULT - - Insane Surgeon d. Devil via countout
Bud: Pardon me for a second, Jim. I have to regain my composure.
Jim: I'll be having nightmares after that, I'll tell you what.
Match 4 - - The Rat vs. Axel Dreamer
Bud: The Commissioner has come down to the ring, here. He has a mike, let's go down to the ring.
Commish: You know, since the Rat, Axel Dreamer, Insane Surgeon, and Inferno have so much talent, why don't we have a four corners match right now? Yes, that's what we'll do. Have a good night...and one more thing - the second and third men to be eliminated will battle it out next week for the Intercontinental title.
Four Corners/Battle Royal Match for the SWF World Title
Bud: And this is on! Axel Dreamer and Inferno lock up, as do The Rat and Insane Surgeon. Dreamer sends Inferno to the ropes, and The Rat sends Surgeon to the ropes. Both men collide in a heap of bones. The Rat brings down Axel Dreamer, and gets him into an ankle lock. Inferno comes over, and kicks The Rat, and frees Dreamer. They embrace!!! Inferno and Dreamer are in this together? They hold hands and go into the ropes for a double closeline, but...Dreamer pushes Inferno out of the ring!!! Inferno is eliminated, and he will not get a shot at the Intercontinental title next week.
Jim: When it comes down to the SWF World title, friends don't mean a thing.
Bud: Now The Rat and Insane Surgeon lock up, and Axel Dreamer just looks on. The Rat is trying to push Surgeon over the ropes, but the "mentally challenged" wrestler will not give in. Now he slowly reverses the move, and The Rat is about to fall over. The Rat isn't budging, though. What's Dreamer doing? He's running at the two men, and, yes, he just pushed them over. Axel Dreamer is the SWF World Champion!!!! What a match!!! What a night!!!
Jim: I can not think of a better SWF World Champ! And next week, The Rat and Insane Surgeon will battle it out for the SWF IC belt.
RESULT - - Axel Dreamer d. The Rat, Inferno, and Insane Surgeon by throwing them over the top rope
