Day 4 of the GLOBE
New Mexico Workshop
Henry gave us our instructions and
then we went outside to make a human mountain. There are 4 lucky
GLOBE teachers under that plastic sheet.
When we sprayed the "Teacher Mountain"
with water, rivers and lakes began to form. That was fun for
us rain makers!
We used ice water to calibrate the
calibration thermometers. Wouldn't you think a calibration thermometer would
be calibrated?
We will be ready to visit the Rio
Grande River as soon as Henry shows us how to become water detectives.
We used all of our senses to detect the mystery liquids. Did you ever listen to a glass of water?
