| The King made a surprise appearance on the Late Night Show last week. The Duffer reporter Rich Storm captured this image off of the video out takes. Jim took the time to explain a little hockey to Dave. Dave didn�t understand why he and "the Nailer" made national news when they scored in Columbus on January 23, and then again at home 2 weeks later. Jim told him about reckless defensemen like Harvey and Fruitcake. Dave seemed to get a charge when the King patted him on the bottom as he demonstrated how real men congratulate their friends during sports contest. Unfortunately the CBS censors cut that part out. The King did take time to give thanks to Mike Presecky for setting up the historic goal. The interview may run again on Talk Soup. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Blues assembled the best of the mediocre Duffers and Stump looked like the clip art above, as he was pummeled by the Duffer Diaper line of Berserk, Miller Lite and Lil� Presecky. Stump's only relief came when he had the King and Larry on defense. The Diaper line had a lot of fun scoring shamelessly when Harvey and Gilbert were playing back. Scratch that, Harvey was never back. Mike had several goals, while Berserk went crazy. (I know that is redundant) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hitman had the only meaningful goal of the game, but he paid for it later when Beak caught him coming across the neutral zone with his head down. Beak laid him out! (Then he got up and helped Beak get up.) Only in Duffers Hockey will you see something like that! The Anvil caught a Brinks shot inside of the net, that would have tied the game, but Aggie refused to call upstairs for help from the video crew. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
