This tape could be called the "Submission Bible Lite." The format of the 2 tapes is similar, both are in Japanese. This tape has slightly more detail, more positional work, and fewer submissions. Among the material covered is:
1. Stance
2. basic Punching
3. Basic Kicking
4. Defenses against punching kicking and shooting
5. Heel Pick
6. Body drop
7. Flying armbar
8. Flying triangle (3 ways)
9. Flying scissor takedown to heel hook
10. 3 mount escapes
11. 3 open guard sweeps
12. 3 closed guard sweeps
13. triangle choke from mount
14. a leg lock flow
15. 3 takedowns when standing and you have opponents back.
16. a real nifty choke when triangle fails
17. Juji from guard
18. Trianagle from guard
(a few other moves were shown as well) I was actually surprised at the amount of leg lock material; I expected a little more. Another thing that surprised me was that Sato crosses his ankles twice when he has ukes back and is applying a rear naked. This tape is not bad at all and ranks about as well as the submission bible w/ more positional work. All in all, get this if you can find it; howver, Killer Leg Locks and Paulson's Private still rain supreme for amount of submissions.
