Keys to Progress

1 Drink no less than 1oz.H2O/lbs.of BW.Do this gradually,building up to this amount.
2 Eat every 2-3 hours during the day.
3 Sleep for a minimum of 8 hours a day up to 10 maximum.
4 Do 30 minutes of cardio 4-5 Times per week.Keep it fast and furious,mostly
anaerobic.
5 Train with weights no less than 2 and no more than 4x/wk.
6 Train bodyweight movements 3x/wk.Keeps the strength and size you gain useful.
7 Spar(roll)no less than 2-3x/wk.And keep it safe don't try to prove shit and don't
roll with those who are trying to prove shit.
8 Rest from all physical activity at least 1x/wk. but no more than 2.
9 Take a 15-60 minute nap every workout day.
10 Meditate or do some form of mental and Spiritual Gymnastics(visualization,succesive relaxation,self hypnosis,prayer,taking a walk with your dog,etc. whatever works for you)at least 1 hour per day.
I've found these to be some of the most valuable principles to follow in my so far short life as an athlete and MMA.Hope they can be of use to those who they are new too and a reminder to those who have forgotten or slacked.Obviously these are my personal ones so feel free to alter slightly to fit your recovery ability or area of focus(i.e. if you have great strength but poor cardio you might want
cardio 6x/wk. and the weights for 2x/wk. for a short period to bring it up while maintaining your strength)
