The RoG Concept
This isn't your ordinary fed. How so you ask? Let me first satrt off with the concept behind RoG.
Ring of Glory is brought to you, the handlers, as not only a federation to have fun and enjoy yourselves, but as that last resort perhaps to have that one last fued you've always wanted to have. Doens't have to be your absolute last fued, but you get the idea. This is your chance to run whatever type of angle you ever wanted. This is your chance to have that fued(s) you've always wanted to have with whomever you damn well please. Here's the deal though...only one card per month. Yeah you read right...only one card per month. Alright, perhaps two...the first being a minor card with those wanting to participate in a "warm-up" match or angle match may do so. The other being a supercard where their big payoff match takes place.
Here's how it's going to work:
You set yourself up in a fued, or a staff member can set you up in a fued if desired. The match is signed for the supercard of the month. In the meantime, the weekly cards will consist of solely promos and oncards. Perhaps a match or two can go down as well for those who wish to have one, but it's not necessary. All that is needed is fued development between you and your opponenet. Of course, the more work put into the fued/angle, the more spotlight it's going to get, better write up, you get the idea.
The concept here is to work with those people you may have lways wanted to work with, or perhaps finish a fued that has yet to be settled. There's no real commitment. If you just want to come in and work one fued with someone, than that's completely fine. If you want to work 87 fueds, then either good for you or go get a life. The idea is to not only have fun, but to be creative in a stress free enviroment.
I know what you're thinking, big deal, it still requires an oncard a week. Basically the same as a roleplay. This is where you're wrong. Oncards are much more easier and more fun to do, at least to me they are. If you're creative and have someone good to work with, then this should be no problem. Oncards or promos don't have to be 10 pages long. Sometimes a 10 line oncard speaks more than a 300 line oncard, depending on the situation. It's the quality, originality and chemsitry between the parties involved in the oncard that make it what it is.
So how is a winner determined? By the roleplaying that's done for the match. Yes, unfortunately at least one roleplay is required for the big payoff match. No more than two. But that ain't so bad, one rp a month...I'd take that anyday over one roleplay a week, right?
This is something a little different than what you're probably used to. That's the idea, diversity and something a little less stressful and time consuming than your average fed.
