Shane and Stephanie McMahon on 'Off the Record'

Landsberg asked what it was like growing up in the McMahon family. 
Shane said that know one will never understand what it's like. They 
are always so close to each other, 24 hours a day.

Shane was asked what he thought about his father being criticized. 
Shane said he was angry about it, and people never will understand 
their family. He said the McMahons are always going to be solid. 
Stephanie added that the media never talks about the good stuff he 
does.

Shane criticized the media for exploiting the JFK tragedy.

Stephanie says the media has changed. She talked about one guy who 
said Vince was worst than Hannibal the Cannibal. She said Vince asked 
that guy to come to the Titan offices and meet his family then make 
his decision. But the guy was so yellow, and did not want to come.

Both attended the University of Boston.

They were asked if they both always wanted to enter the wrestling 
business. Shane said it was always his dream since he was 2 years old. 
Shane always wanted to be the tag team partner of Andre the Giant.

Michael asked if them if their characters on tv resemble them in real 
life. Shane said he is nothing like his character on tv. Landsberg 
then asked Stephanie would she ever date a wrestler. She said she 
would, but it would be in the companies best interest if she did not.

Landsberg asked Shane how he would combat the stereotype of being the 
boss' son. How he gets all the advantages in life. Shane said he does 
not, there is nothing wrong with a father helping his son. He said it 
should always be like that.

Landsberg asked Stephanie what she would do when she got control of 
the company. She said she would take the WWF as far as it would go. 
There is no direction they won't go.

Shane said why should the WWF be just about wrestling, they can 
expand into all fields. Stephanie brought up that that WWF: Volume 3 
got as high as #6 on the billboard rankings.

Quirky Fact: WWF Superstar Stephanie McMahon's WWF on camera debut was 
at a Rowday Roddy Piper Halloween party.

Landsberg asked what they both did inside the company. Shane said he 
runs the internet division. Stephanie said she is a account executive 
in New York. It's her job to bring in as many advertising clients as 
possible.

Shane talked about the internet. Shane said we take their idea, 
through chats and Message Boards.

Landsberg asked Stephanie, would she ever object to anything she is 
asked to do. She said she has yet to get to that point.

Landsberg said she is truly a McMahon, because she didn't really give 
a proper answer.

Shane said his father is a tough dude.

Stephanie was asked if she would wrestle. She said she didn't mind, 
but is currently not slated to do so.
