Gary and Beverly moor their 22 foot sailboat named "Sundowner" in their backyard. You see Gary is a trailer sailor from Germantown and is the proud second owner of a 1978 Windrose. This 22 foot sailboat is easy to spot on the lake with it's yellow/gold hull and matching sail wardrobe. Gary usually launches at the ramp across from Aqua Yacht Harbor or the Corps ramp near Elam's Corner, depending on the weekend's game plan. If it's golf, he will launch at the State Park. |
Gary likes to nose onto a beach for a campfire or raft-up in a cove and has been known to coax a tune out of his guitar. He invites all club members to hail him on Channel 16 or just sail over and socialize. |
