One of the primary founders of the Pickwick Cruising Club (PCC) is Dave. He and his wife Shirley are enjoying their favorite beverage at one of the parties at the Lake (picture above). Dave is a distinguished retired Navy Chief, and served admirally during the Vietnam War. He is one of those persons who is always helping out and showing other members how to do things to their boats. If it weren't for Dave, a lot of us would be broke from paying for repairs we could have done ourselves. |
Dave is also a suba diver and takes great pride in teaching us rookies the exciting things we are missing below the waterline. |
When Dave is not helping or teaching, he and Shirley can usually be found onboard the Serendipity II. Dave is a very important part of the Serendipity's Crew; and the only person to be made an Honorary Captain of this sailing yacht. |
