We have the privilege of calling three of America's finest adults: "Our children". We have two sons living in California, in San Diego; in Alameda; and our "Favorite Daughter", , in Maryland. Our Grandson, , who has taught us how SPECIAL children really are, also lives in Maryland.
Bruce's favorite author is James A. Michener. Favorites include: Chesepeake, The Source, Centenial, Texas, The Covenant and Hawaii. He has also read most of the books written by Tom Clancey and John Grisham. Bonnie reads mysteries and historical novels taking place between 1600 and 1900. She very rarely reads "number" books.
We enjoy most types of music from Classical to Country. Our favorite new release is Dolly Parton's "Treasures" album. We also frequently attend performances of the Asheville Symphony. The sound track from EVITA can usually be found on our CD player.
We recently enjoyed the playing of the Smoky Mountain Country Club!!Bruce as a player and Bonnie as an observer. Without question, this is the MOST fun that I have ever had on a golf course. The Mountain-Living development is worthy of exploration by ANYONE even considering moving to the Western North Carolina area!!
