PFL Rules
You have to turn in a lineup every week. No reverting back
to last weeks lineup. If you don't turn in a lineup you get 0 points for the
week.
No injury substitute starters in your starting lineup. If you have a player who
is questionable or a game-time decision you take a chance and start that player
or play it safe and start someone else. This rule eliminates "if James doesn't
play start Mungro instead."
Any defensive TD,
safety or special team score is worth 2.5 points.
A shutout by your defense is worth 5 points.
Rushing TD’s: 0-20 yds=2.5 pts, 21-49 yds=3 pts, 50-74 yds=3.5 pts, 75-100 yds=4 pts
Receiving TD’s: 0-20 yds=2.5 pts, 21-49 yds=3 pts, 50-74 yds=3.5 pts, 75-100 yds=4 pts
Passing TD’s: 0-20 yds=1.5 pts, 21-49 yds=2 pts, 50-74 yds=2.5 pts, 75-100 yds=3 pts
If an offensive player returns a fumble; Ex: Parker fumbles while running the ball and Ward picks it up and scores, Ward would get rushing TD points. Same with an interception that is fumbled and a started offensive player picks it up and scores. Ex. Big Ben throws and int to Champ Bailey, Bailey fumbles and Ward picks it up and scores. *There was never a specific rule addressing these situations.
Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends= Every 25 yds rushing in a game = 0.5 points
Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends= Every 75 yds passing in a game = 0.5 points
Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends= Every 25 yds receiving in a game = 0.5 points
No injured reserve (IR). If you have a player who gets hurt you either keep him
or cut him and pick someone else up. You can carry 3 extra players/teams at any
position provided you end up with the minimum players/teams at each position.
You do NOT get a players backup automatically if a player gets hurt. Since there
is no IR you have to submit a claim for the backup and follow the waiver wire
rules. Anyone can put a claim in for the backup and whichever owner has the
highest waiver wire position (lowest number) and put a claim in will get the
player.
The draft will be August 19, 2006 at 5:00 PM at George's house.
Waiver Wire: The term "waiver wire" simply means a place where all cut players
are located. Players placed "on waivers" become free agents if they remain on
the Waiver Wire for approximately 48 hours without being claimed. Our league
"waiver time" will be 8:00 PM. For example if Mark Bruener is cut at 10:30 AM on
Tuesday he would clear waivers and become a free agent at 8:00 PM on Thursday.
(If no one puts a claim in for him). This is a little more than 48 hours. If
Mark Bruener is cut at 11:45 PM on Tuesday he would clear waivers and become a
free agent at 8:00 PM on Thursday. (If no one puts a claim in for him). This is
a little less than 48 hours. The waiver wire begins right after the draft and is
in affect all year.
Waiver Position: Each team is assigned a waiver position at the start of the
season. This rank is determined by the reverse draft order of the last round of
the draft. The farther down the list of league teams you are the lower your
waiver claim position.
One or more owners may claim a player "on waivers" during the waiver period.
To make a claim for a player "on waivers", send an email to
[email protected].
You will be required to include who you are cutting to accommodate the claimed
player in the email. This is the same procedure we will do for Tuesday evening
pickups. This is NOT a secret. Everyone in our league will get the info via
email.
At the end of the approximate 48-hour waiver period, the player is awarded to
the claiming owner with the highest waiver position (lowest number) provided he
made the appropriate roster moves. The owner making the successful claim is
moved to the last waiver claim position. Owners whose claims were unsuccessful,
or did not make a waiver claim, move up one position on the waiver claim ladder.
Once you put a waiver claim in for a player you may NOT
recall it.
The "waiver wire" will also be the procedure followed for Tuesday evening
pickups.
Any emails for Tuesday
evening pickups, sent with a time stamp of 7:59 PM or earlier, according to
yahoo time, will be automatically considered a claim (whether you want to use a
claim or not) and you will lose your waiver wire position, if successful. Any
email sent with a time stamp of 8:00 PM or later, according to yahoo time, will
be considered a free agent pickup and no waiver is needed. If two or more teams
send out an email with the same time sent stamp , according to yahoo time, the
team highest on the waiver wire order (lowest number) will get the player and NOT lose
their waiver priority.
This will NOT affect the
waiver wire position. The waiver wire position will be only used as a
tie breaker tool in this situation.
Must pay $200.00 by the end of the NFL regular season. You have four months to
pay this!!
Any trade can be made just so the teams involved do not violate the roster
parameters. For example you can trade 1 QB for 2 RB's or 3 WR's.
Trade deadline is at the end of the Monday night game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks--WEEK 12
All roster moves & starting lineups must be emailed to
[email protected]
Pickups can be made between Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. and Sunday at 1:00 P.M. (Game
time) of each week during the regular season. Preseason pickups can be made at
ANY time. You just have to follow the waiver wire procedures (including
preseason).
Trades can be made at anytime before the trade deadline in preseason or regular
season.
No picking up of players just because you have players off. If you have four
running backs or three quarterbacks with the same bye week you have to cut them
to pick someone else up. You could also leave the starting position blank.
All starting lineups must be in by 1:00 Sunday. If teams play Thursday or
Saturday of the week you must email the league if you are starting a player who
is playing that day.
The winner of the league will receive $1,200.00 and the team name engraved on
the PFL plaque. The runner up will receive $400.00.
No selling of players or draft picks.
The draft will consist of 24 rounds. The order is: 1. Team Z 2. E. Sabo 3. George 4. Erik Fab 5. Bryan Fab 6. Shawn 7. Jeremy 8. Bryan G.
