Jim joined Doug found in the rejuvenation of the FLying Deuces at Central II. Jim slipped above par at both holes four and six, but rallied back with a deuce on each of the next two holes. Doug matched Jim with deuces on holes five and seven also. After nine holes Doug hade a single stroke lead.
Jim went OB into the water at hole ten, but nailed a long shot for a par any way. Doug stumbled to a four on the same hole allowing Jim to pull even on the score card. A deuce for Jim at hole ten gave him the lead. At hole fourteen there was a two stroke swing as Jim had a five while Doug made par. That two stroke swing was negated at hole fifteen as Doug made a five and Jim parred. From here on out jim picked up a stroke a hole on Doug as Jim finished with a par of deuces.
Jim finished under par at 53 and Doug had a 57.
