Eric and Doug met for a round at West Valley I. Both players hole one with virtually identical drives into the parking lot for OB. Doug hit a long approach to save a four while Eric struggled to a five. On hole two, Eric score a natual five. On hole three Eric landed OB in a tree while Doug deuced. Doug had a four stroke lead after three holes! Eric started a comeback with a deuce on hole four. A six at hole seven slowed Eric down, but Doug finished the front nine with his own double-bogey, bogey to make things close.
Eric deuced hole ten and thirteen and Doug could find no deuces on the back nine. At the end it was Eric with 35-27 and DOug with 33-29, both finishing with a blundering 62.
