THE HEADBANGERS America Online chat

EDITOR'S NOTE: The chat was edited for length and content.

Q: Do you feel threatened by teams like Hawk and Animal, especially after Monday night?

MOSH: No, not at all...that shows we can hang with any team in the WWF right now. And it just proves we are one of the best in the sport today.
Q: Mosh and Thrasher, what wrestler or wrestlers do you look up to and what do you think about the situation with Shawn Michaels?

THRASHER: I look up to us!!! I think it is unfortunate for Shawn had to go through what he did, but it's an ongoing thing in a contact sport like this.

Q: Would you guys ever get in the ring with any of the ECW wrestlers?

MOSH: Been there done that! We've been there, and if that's what the WWF wants us to do then we will do it for them! There is NO ONE in ECW with out caliber right now We will help the WWF if need be in anything they need!

Q: How did you guys get started in wrestling?

THRASHER: I went to the Monster Factory and was trained by Larry Sharpe and we both wrestled amatuer for high school growing up.

Q: With LOD returning...do you now feel the tag team ranks in the WWF are the best around?

MOSH: Yea...and it's gotten alot tougher. It's a little more challenging for us against team like LOD and the Blackjacks, but before long we will move up the ladder. The WWF became the cream of the crop when they signed us, punk!

Q: How have you guys been treated by some of the older veterans like Davey Boy, Owen, Bret and Taker?

THRASHER: With the uttmost respect. They have treated us better than I could have ever imagined. They are true professionals in and out of the ring.

Q: If you guys were not in pro wrestling, what would you both be doing?

MOSH: I have a degree for teaching, believe it or not! Also, I would probably be coaching amateur wrestling in high school.

Q: Did you guys always want to be wrestlers, and what wrestler did you guys idolize?

MOSH: Yea..I always wanted to try it. I always watched it as a kid. The wrestler I admired the most was Randy Savage. I thought once I tried wrestling it just grew on me. And today I love doing it for my job.

Q: Besides yourself...what tag team do you respect?

THRASHER: Probably the Nasty Boys, because we tried to be like them. BUT, we broke the mold when we were born, and now the Nasty Boys couldn't lick our boots.

Q: Will you get a manager soon?

THRASHER: Not necessary right now..unless it is Jim Cornette. That would be very cool. We don't need any extra help with our matches right now, just look what we did to the Legion of Doom last night.

Q: Exactly how many body parts do you have pierced?????

THRASHER: Three on each ear, three on my nose, one on my tongue, and one where YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW!!! Yes..one down there too...

Q: Do you have any scholastic or collegiate wrestling background?

MOSH: I wrestled amatuer since second grade and then through high school and college. I also taught wrestling at a local high school where I live. That Shamrock ain't got a THING on me!

Q: What's with the kilts?

THRASHER: If anybody remembers watching Guns and Roses, they all wore kilts onstage. It's king of a heavy-metal thing. We're just showing our indivdualism, and plus they look cool in the mosh pits!
