Bethany Dove

Philosophy

Bethany College's intramural philosophy is based upon the concept that the college is responsible for the total well being of all students and staff, and that constructive leisure pursuits through physical recreation and social activities make a vital contribution to that aim.  Our dedicated service strives to provide opportunities that enhance the quality of life.   The desire of this department is to have a lasting effect on participants by helping them establish lifestyles conducive to physical and personal development.

Entries

Intramural activities are all based on a sign-up registration process.  Each activity has a deadline date by which registration must be completed.  Entry forms are available outside the Intramural Office.  When completed, put the forms in the mailbox outside the Intramural Director's office.

Student Staff

The Intramural Department recognizes the importance of student officials and staff.  The student staff is THE HEART of the intramural program at Bethany College.  For more information concerning staff opportunities, contact the Intramural Office.

About Your Intramural Program

For those who enjoy recreational play, activities, and competition at multiple levels, many opportunities are provided in intramurals.  Whether you assume a leadership role as an official, team captain, play on a team composed of old friends, floormates, club members, or colleagues, your involvement promises a memorable experience.  The Bethany College Intramural Handbook, available in the Intramural Office at the Stroble-Gibson Centennial Center, is accessible to any person interested in information concerning policies, eligibility, and services provided.
