Baseball
    Bethany baseball Swedes last week were leading the Kansas Conference race, but over the weekend lost three of four games.  This week on Tuesday they went to Friends University to closeout the regular season.
    Last Saturday the baseball Swedes split with Sterling, 4-7 and 4-3, and then on Sunday in a makeup doubleheader the Ottawa Braves swept Bethany at Anderson Field.  OU now leads the conference.  There is no KCAC baseball postseason tournament, and the regular champion will advance to NAIA Great Plains Regionals.
