The League Cup left the Wilson house for the first time when Anthony Spencer won in the Final against the holder, Richard Wilson.

Phillip Short was not able to attend, but the Competition was played with six of the seven members.

In the Semi-Finals Richard defeated Stephen 1-0, while Anthony beat Adrian 2-1 after extra-time.

In the Fifth Place Play-Off, Nick beat Ray 2-0. Adrian had a high scoring match against Stephen in the race for third. The score was 4-4 at the end of the extra-time period. Stephen missed his last penalty shot giving Adrian third prize.

The Final was very close. There were lots of missed chances by both players, but Anthony scored the only goal to win 1-0 and took the Cup.

The Second Oral-B Cup was quite successful, it was held over three days in July, 1992 and had ten competitors. The top four from each group went into the Quarter-Finals.

In Group A, Stephen beat Richard 3-1. Stephen went through unbeaten, with Richard and Nick playing well. The big match in the group was at the bottom, where Ray Raffoul drew 0-0 with Fiona Grunbach. Fiona did not qualify on goal difference.

In Group B, Phillip dominated. The battle was for second place, where Adrian and Anthony battled to get an easier game in the Quarter-Finals. Their match was tied at 1-1, but Adrian was lucky to score a late winner.

New player, Alex Sutcliffe had a good day. His first match resulted in a 0-0 draw with Ben Nemes. He nearly made it to the next round and Adrian only just beat him 2-0 in the last few minutes.

The Quarter-Finals were held on Monday the 6th of July and very tight and exciting. Richard drew 0-0 with Anthony. In extra-time, both players failed to score and it went to a penalty shoot-out. Richard won 3-1.

Nick shocked everyone with a 1-0 win over Adrian. Steve beat Ben 1-0 and Phillip beat Ray 4-0.

In the Semi-Finals, Phillip beat Steve 2-1 and Richard beat Nick 2-0. Nick beat Steve 3-2 in the Third Place Play-Off after a penalty shoot-out.
