August News Letter
2001

I would like to congratulate the Winners of the 2001 Outdoor Bowhunter league.
They are : Alan Basten, Adam Kahler, and Joe Hudspeth. Second Place went to
John Digman, Jorge Thomas, and Rick Stien. Third place went to : Mike (pork chop)
Wilson, Tim Digman, and Roger Kafer. Thanks to everyone that participated. We
would also like to thank Jeff Winter, John Timmerman and Kevin O'Brien for running
the league and taking care of the course.

The 2001 Bowhunter and/or Target Championships will be held from August 26 - 
September 1, 2001. Members are encouraged to shoot. The fee is $5.00 witch can be placed in 
the lock box on top of the counter in the clubhouse. Please be sure to write on your card
witch course you are shooting and write " club championship " on top of the card.


Our 2001 3-d tournament season is now over. Thanks to everyone that took the
extra time to help with the substantial work involved in making it a success!


Bow season is coming soon. Please remember our bag targets are not for broaheads.
 Feel free to use the dirt bunker behind the clubhouse.


We should also remember to thank the 2001 Boardmembers who have worked hard
and continue to work toward making the new clubhouse/indoor range a reality!!
Not to mention the club members who did thier part in selling raffle tickets
for thin endeavor.

Please remember to drive at the posted speed limit
 of 10 MPH down the lane.
This will keep our neighbors Happy.


The next board meeting has been scheduled for Sept. 12, 2001. Any and all members
who would like to attend are encouraged and would be appreciated for particpating.
We can always use a fresh outlook and new ideas to improve our club.
