Meeting Minutes (March 1, 2005)
Meeting convened at 6:30 at Tom Fessler's house. Board members present: President, Tom Fessler; Vice President, Randy Lester; Treasurer, Joe Tilp; Secretary, Bill Helling; Board Member, Fred Timmerman; Board Member, Pete Maier . OLD BUSINESS Traveling 3D League Tom Fessler reported that he had contacted a nearby club and that there had been no response to date. Insurance There was a short discussion about renewing the club's current liability insurance. Quotes received have been very high. Joe Tilp is to investigate what aspect of the club's activities is driving the annual premium higher. There was concern that members hunting on the property might be driving the quotes higher. The insurance issue must be resolved before the March 26/27 shoot. Railings on Tree Stands The railings must be replaced before the first 3-D shoot in the spring. Tim Digman, Joe Tilp and Tom Fessler will repair before the March 26/27 shoot. March 26/27 Shoot -Clean up day for the shoot Saturday, March 19 at 9:00. .We can use all the help we can get and member partIcIpatIon would be greatly apprecIated. Fred TImmerman and TIm Digman are doing the actual preparations for the shoot so please gIve them a call. NEW BUSINESS Fund Raising -There was considerable discussion about fund raising with the ultimate goal of building a clubhouse and an indoor range. Joe Tilp is investigating a poker tournament at the fairgrounds. Randy Lester is investigating selling t-shirts and jackets with a DFA logo. Dues Annual dues are being collected.
